On Saturday July 14th the Design Studio staff will taking over Warhammer World with the awesome Warhammer 40,000 Open Day. Celebrating Warhammer 40,000 past and present we have brought together the creative minds behind the latest version to share their knowledge and insight into this fantastical world. Join us for a day of fun and celebrate this epic story.
Run around trying all the activities and checking out the displays, or sit back in the seminars and hobby demos and let a wave of hobby wash over you.
On the day you can:
* Meet the team that designed Warhammer 40,000, from Artists to Sculptors, they will all be there to answer your questions and show off their talents.
* Join in Warhammer 40,000 seminars where you can find out the thoughts behind the design choices of the game and the miniatures.
* Learn new techniques directly from the experts as they pass on their secrets in our Hobby demos.
* See fantastic displays of the contents of Warhammer 40,000 rulebooks past and present.
* Take part in exciting activities and competitions centered around the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
These include:
* Red vs Blue - a vicious contest between Crimson Fists and Chaos Space Marines!
* Dogfighting - a participation game using an immense number of flyers, take on the Miniatures Designers and the Games Developers in the skies!
* Riskvan VII - help the Hobby Team build a unique game board for use in Sunday's epic battle.
* Psyker Duels - fight out bloody battles against the Games Developers using only your mind!
* Photo Set-Up - bring your unit and have it photographed on Studio terrain with the full Studio camera set-up!
