All You Have to Do is Make It, and We Will Buy It
There are many releases that we would buy virtually unseen if GW would just make it. After all, when it comes to Chaos Marines, the last thing we expected this week was the Crimson Slaughter. It seemed more appropriate that a Legions book or something along those lines would of been on the list.
There are releases beyond the standard codices that we feel have been left out, possibly abandoned, or are just an opportunity missed. Yes, we like the new stuff, like Imperial Knights, and even the Crimson Slaughter is a good idea, but there is just so much out there that there is already a demand for.
So lets take a look at some of the models or products that if Games Workshop just made it........ We would buy it immediately and without second thought.
Yes this is wishlisting, but perhaps it is also a memo to some of those that are in charge of what it is that we want to see, or are dying to get our hands on........ if only you would make it.
Here are my personal top 5 for the game. What are yours?
1. Codex Legions....... Please. Night Lords, Word Bearers, and all the original traitor legions would be one of the most wonderful things that could ever grace this game. Supplements or Mini-Dexes would most likely sell out during pre-order week.
2. Plastic Thunderhawk. I really dont care about the specifics of why or why not it cant be made. As long as it was even remotely affordable we would buy it. Please make sure it is a dual kit with some cool non-forgeworld variation. Lets shoot this mythicial beast down and figure out how to do it.
3. Codex: Adeptus Sororitas: Give us a full codex. Plastic Sisters of Battle. There is so much that can be done here, and the old models just need to be replaced. Its a big investment, but with big payouts. We have heard that the models are either done, or close to it. So lets add the repressor transport, dust off the work already done, and get them released.
4. Codex: Black Templar: There are a lot of people out there that want this supplement. This would be a much bigger release than most space marine supplements. It has been rumored to being worked on for a release sometime this year, but we have not heard a thing about it since.
5. Codex Assassins. In the current enviroment its a mini-dex, but being able to ally with so many different armies would just be an awesome codex. Throwing some life back into these models really make my day. This release is logical, and fits into the current mold of releases.
And Please, when it comes time (showing my patience)........ lets give Dark Eldar Mandrakes some good rules. These are by far one of the best looking models in the game that was completely thrown under the bus by its rules. I would buy 30 if only they had rules that were playable.
