Eldar, Eldar, Eldar. This is probably the one release that I am looking forward to more than anything else (unless I get hints that dark eldar are being looked at).

New Eldar plastics are coming, and I have seen them. (just joking of course). Really though, the rumors are now coming in for new plastics... Jetbikes and Wraithguard.

Please remember that these are rumors, like always some salt is required

Question Posted by stahly over on Warseer
Hastings, thanks for your rumours, any chance we will see updated jetbikes for the Eldar release and/or plastic Wraithguard?

Cheers mate!
Yes. (Words for the word god)

  1. They sound great too!

Eldar Jetbikes3 per box, the same pose as dark eldar jetbike, guardian riders with smaller helmets or bareheaded with lots of flying hair (80s heavy metal mane) and without backpack, vyper-esque smooth canopy, jet and wings have the same design as a falcon grav tank, underslung twin shuriken catapults and/or serpent-shaped bladehooks, some riders have axes with a hole in the blade

From the 3++ guy last July that saw all the boxes.

    1. Oh and the wraithguard plastics

Eldar Wraithguard/Cataphracts3 per box, look like old versions but have two rods for upper arms and thighs instead of just one, some have feet, some hooves, large fins at the backCataphracts: float/fly, fluttering cloth pieces instead of legs, wing-shaped shields and spears, segmented/armored head

  2. Any chance of new Guardian models? I know the current ones are ancient but in a way, why fix what isn't broke? (Yes, I know it's GW)

    1. I heartily agree, a few more leg poses and some different arm combinations would be great!

  3. Aye, new Jetbikes will be very welcome. I like the cheapness of the current ones but they've even got the old fish-face Eldar riders on them, they're that old. Blergh.

    1. Cheapness?!?!?!! Are you getting yours for under $15 somewhere? They're the most expensive bike unit on the market...for years

  4. I hope the new bikes keep the original "harley davison" riding pose, as its a stark contrast to the Dark Eldar style.

On the subject of the guardians, I'd love for a new box set of Storm Guardians or (hopefully) normal Guardians to have laser weapons as an option again.

Besides - if they change the look of the Eldar Bikes too much, they'll have to redo the existing pilots of the Falcon and Vypers, too - because they're pretty "old" looking too.

I still can't see a plastic Wraithguard box being a great idea - much rather it be Howling Banshees or Striking Scorpions that got the treatment (or a 5 model dual kit for both)

    1. I don't mind the HarleyDavidson style either, but we're in the minority. In regard to the riders, I've swapped the originals with Guardian torsos and heads. They look badass. I've also given each one an additional cc weapon in anticipation of that option in the new Dex. At least I was rewarded with the Corsair list in IA11.

    2. The Corsairs are the main "worry" I have about new bikes. I'd love to make an Eldar pirate force right now, but new "modern" bikes with up to date armor wouldn't look quite right.

  5. I just want to see the rumor that tells us Farseers and Warlock Jetbikes are in the mix!!! I've got four from Chapterhouse but, by the gods, that gets expensive.
