ReplyDeleteI hope Daemons stick to being a very unique army and they don't make them too standard. This would be the first non power armored codex to come out for 6th edition so it should be an interesting one.
ReplyDeleteI'm not complaining but GW has really fallen to chaos, anything recent has just been catering to those evil-hearted demon-loving players. Now excuse me while I continue painting my new chaos chariot...
ReplyDeleteToo much Chaos in few time in my opinion .I don`t like the idea.I have Chaos Demons in W40K and Cavatore's codex is awful but....
ReplyDeleteI know, my wallet is hurting just thinking about more chaos.
DeleteDon't worry now that the "two" chaos codices will be out, we'll have imperial releases up the wazzu again.....
DeleteFirst Wave odf daemons(Or so they said):

DeleteIn my case is not matter of money. Other codexes,I think, need more be changed than chaos daemons. For example Eldar or Tau Empire or black templars
@Luis Ed (Agramar): It's not about need, it's about fixing obvious and easy problems. The Demons dual release is quick and easy to update and can fix some major problems.
DeleteOlder, off-color books like Tau and Black Templars need a lot of work to be a profitable venture for GW, while Eldar are an establishment as old as 40k and will receive the same love CSM did.
They get released based on the flow of ideas, timing, and profit projections. You don't force something out just because it's older. That's how you end up with Tomb Kings being a mopey book, for example.
Hope that is not an accurate list. The bloodthirster is showing his age and needs a new model real bad.
DeleteMay be,but as Chaos player I prefer more "distance" between chaos codexes and more uniformity in the rest of codex. Is a pitty see people playing with 4th edition codex in this edition, full of paper patches...
DeleteIn my opinion,GW game developers have had just enough time to put the codex at or at least closer to the maximum without paper patches.
@Arron@ Yeah.And Abbadon,Kharn,Ezekiel,,Azrael,Dante.Mephiston,...Not bad models,just...classic^_^
DeleteOh I agree, They look like they fit though. I love my Kharn, Typhus, and Abbadon. The Bloodthirster does not fit with any of the current Khorne stuff, or even any of the recent art depicting bloddthirsters. It fit great with the last version of the bloodletters, but not anymore.
DeleteWooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Nurgle boogie!!
ReplyDeleteC'mon WD leak...
ReplyDeleteAny word on who's authoring the book?
ReplyDelete*whispering prayers to our lord the Ward*
From the current rules rumours, it sounds like it's a work of Cruddace. No one else would take away so many rules.
DeleteWe are about to receive the Tyranid Treatment I think.
Yeah WD leak please :)
ReplyDeleteThe 23rd is this Saturday. Do they usually put up preorders before the White Dwarf comes out?
ReplyDeleteTechnically, the 22nd is the last Friday of the month.
DeleteIs it just me or was this video a tad better than normal?
ReplyDeleteyeah at least it had some movement instead of just audio. Still, I think GW needs to rethink their marketing for this stuff, the WD Daily and digital WD haven't been quite enough of a step toward the 21st century for me.
DeleteWell, I like the current codex but.... Plague flies are so tempting, Nurgle owns my wallet now.....
