About 6 months ago I got a bunch of the Deathworld forest scenery of ebay, assembled it, sprayed it all a dull green colour and left it..
It was boring, and I didn't really want to use it, so I decided to paint them yesterday afternoon.
This is obviouly not the most detailed or precise of painting, but an example of a very quick and serviceable paint job for scenery. All in the lot took me just under 4 hours from the base green starting point.
Using the big fat brushes shown with a 000 size, and just basic colours, a healthy amount of dry brushing followed by some agrax wash all over.
All using vallejo, just used a light and dark shade of brown and green, along with some bold colours to stand out, with yellow and white to highlight. Was not overly careful, nature often isn't.
Again, not meant to demonstrate quality, but rather a very quick and passable way of getting some scenery on the table in an afternoon.
Cheers,
Paul
