Legion Armour Sets and Accessories
The massed ranks of the Legiones Astartes are armoured in the finest war-plate produced by the forges and manufactories of Mars. Proudly bearing the heraldry of their Legion and Primarch it is by the fighting power of these superhuman warriors, armoured for battle in the deadliest of war zones, that the enemies of Mankind have been crushed time and again.
Will Hayes has designed three new sets of variant power armour, each of which contains five multi-part resin figures. These new sets of Legion MkII Armour, Legion MkIII Armour and Legion MkIV Armour contain new poses of legs and arms to add even more variety to either your Horus Heresy Legion force or your Codex Space Marines army. These new sets can also be combined with our existing armour sets, and with the range of plastic Space Marine kits available from the Games Workshop range.
Released alongside these new armour sets are additional weapons and accessories sets. Will has designed a set of Tigrus Bolters, which contains ten resin weapons, and two sets of bolt pistols and pouches in both the Tigrus Pattern and Phobos Pattern.
In addition to all this Simon Egan and Edgar Skomorowski have designed sets of shoulder pads for the four Legions featured in The Horus Heresy Book I: Betrayal, each set containing ten resin shoulder pads for use with our variant power armour kits. This includes MkII armour Emperor’s Children, Sons of Horus,World Eaters and Death Guard shoulder pads, and MkIV armour Emperor’s Children, Sons of Horus, World Eaters and Death Guard shoulder pads.
We are also excited to announce the release of the World Eaters, Sons of Horus and Death Guard Decal Sheets, each designed by Paul Rudge and packed with Legion-specific heraldry, blazons and squad insignia. Paul has also designed sheets of Death Guard and Sons of Horus etched brass symbols, each of which contains a variety of different sized Legion symbols for use with our vehicles and infantry kits.
All these fantastic kits and accessories are available to pre-order now for despatch from Friday 2nd November.

To the warp with these legions.
ReplyDeleteI want my Alphas!
I still doubt do I want to start any Legion army or not. If FW release cool traitors models, well, maybe.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Yesterday I had my first CSM victory with new 'dex. Glory to Slaanesh!
Yeah a Army might be a bit much to paint. But i am so Looking forward for the other Figs. These are Great for bigger & small dioramas =)
DeleteAll this Horus Heresy stuff from forge world is perfect timing. I just finished reading Galaxy In Flames as it came out. Awesome models to go along with the great books.
ReplyDeleteThe scene with angron jumping out a thunderhawk then layin into world eaters is one of my favourite bl moments
DeleteAngron Lord of the Red Sands
I'll second that ^
DeleteHave anyone else planned to use a trick with Lord/Sorcerer (second is preferable, IMO) on the disk of Tzeench? That rewards makes Lord's unit, drums... JETBIKES (+1T and other cookies)! Plasma-Chosen on disks of Tzeench cruising behind Sorcerer on the disk would look on the tabletop just as crazy as only Chaos could be 8D Speaking not about full load of plasma and some foul sorcery. I'd like to test that in the game, but I have no screamers models.
ReplyDeleteI'm so fond of this idea of mine, that consider buying few screamers for conversion. Does anyone see negative sides of that combination (before I spent money on flying fish)?
DeleteHmmm, can decide what's better: hovering spawns-jetbikers with 3++ Lord flying on the chaos-skateboard or Sorc with Chosen (plasma?).
Deletecannot decide* 8)
DeleteFrom the conversion & budget point of view it should be easier to make few flying-spaghetti monsters from green-stuff, but I can't help stop smiling when imagine properly painted Chosen surfing on screamers with sorcerer ahead 8D
DeleteChosen can have steeds?
DeleteI don't think they are to that point in the heresy yet... plus ill find out when the book gets here but i dont thin HH rule are compatible with the reg codex ether. :P
DeleteThe disc makes the *model's* unit type jet-bike. The independant character does not confer his unit-type on a squad he joins. I wish they had given the option to give chosen steeds or up grade bikers to steeds or something like that (because I'd love to field a unit of disc-riders) but they didn't and unfortunately you can't do what you're describing within rules.
ReplyDeleteWoops, meant to reply to Shean's thread not the main one.
DeleteMaybe you are right. I've treated "and his unit type becomes jetbike" quite broadly.
DeleteWell you can make a Unit Outflanking by giving your lord a Slaanesh steed. Thats something, isnt it?
DeleteJust in time for my heresy Ultramarine army, happy days!
ReplyDeleteDid they take part?
DeleteThey battled the Word Bearers.
DeleteSee 'Know No Fear' by Dan Abnett
DeleteAll the Legions took part in the Heresy. It was spread accross the entire Galaxy. Not all of them took part in the initial stages or the Siege of Terra but by the end all 18 Legions had some involment.
DeleteAnurien
I wish they made Luna wolf armor and decals :(

ReplyDeleteThose Emperor's Children look like they're about to accessorize
