First Look: Warpsmith

Since we will be fielding several large daemon engines, the next logical model to take a look at is the Warpsmith. So take a look, its a nice looking model with lots of details.

  1. Great videos for a first look at the models. Any tips on looking after a fine cast model with so much detail. My SAG Big Mek model lost a few bits fairly quickly due to breakages. Guess I need to take a lot more care with my models.

    1. Battlefoam :)

My friend thought the same thing about all the tendrils, and the iron halo type piece, all very fragile. Amazing piece none the less.

    2. Amazing piece. Have the same concerns about breakage tho..
So detailed even an experienced modeller like myself almost went looking for the instructions.. lol
Plan on actually running with the Doc Oc theme and reposing some of the mechadendrils, and using bass guitar string to raise him off the ground a lil on a pair of extra mechadendrils.. True LoS does work both ways, but meh :-)

  2. Magnetize the Model and Transport it in a metalplate

  3. Is it a good mold or are there as many imperfections that require green stuff?
Also do I need a warp Smith to be able to bring demon engines?

    1. Nah, he can help your demon engines, but isn't 100% necessary to have to field them.
