Continuing with the images from November White Dwarf, we have the Megaforces, Wall of Martyrs, etc.
These pics come from various sources. Imperius Dominatus and l'Astropate: News e Rumors di Warhammer 40.000 are two of the several sources these come from.
I like the isolated squad cover piece in the 3rd pic up from the bottom more than the huge trench network. I would purchase some of those. If they are sold seperate.
Well, it should at least be modular, or convertible to be so, so you could do what I'm going to do, and turn it into about 10 different pieces of terrain.
Is it just me or is the Warriors of Chaos update really weak sauce? I mean they only have 2 unit entries in the digital one, unless there were more in the insert, I'm now not as enthusiastic about this method of updating codices. Also, really looks like there's nothing in the issue that would make a 40k player want to buy it. Since I cannot begin to care about fantasy (let alone lord of the rings), I likely won't be buying the annual subscription or every issue. Format is still great
Really don't understand how can you like a wall that is placed over skulls and bodies that seem to be placed in perfect order. It really lacks a lot of natural feeling. Take a look at some Forgeworld terrain photographs and learn how real-like terrain is done. I can't imagine such an unrealistic piece of terrain fiting near a fortification or near my forgeworld barricades that DON'T repeat a detail. This huge mass of repeated ideas is, imho, UGLY and not appealing
