Champions of Fenris Codex Supplement Preview
Champions of Fenris is on its way, and there has been readers with early access to it and figured it was time to reveal what we now know from the new supplement. Of course if you picked up one of the new Wolf Guard Edition limited edition of the Space Wolves codex, you already have this information. This is where all the data is coming from on the new supplement.
These come from one our readers over the weekend. Thanks Norrikan for the preview on what to expect. There are some relatively large changes to the detachment; Company of the Great Wolf.

As an aside, I had a short amount of time with the Champions of Fenris today.
Didn't get a look at the formations, but the rest I did.
Detatchment: Company of the Great Wolf
min 1 HQ, 2 Elites
max 4 HQs, 3 Troops, 8(!) Elites, 3 Fast Attack, 3 Heavy Support
May reroll warlord traits and all wolfguard (both kinds) and thunderwolves get +1WS.
General Rules of the Supplement are:
Characters must alwas challenge and pack leaders of WG and thunderwolves as well as battle leaders get Preferred Enemy (characters) in challenges.
Warlord Traits:
- reroll one failed safe a turn
- Shred in challenges
- one weapon is Maser-crafted
- Outflank
- Fearless
- Preferred Enemy (Everything)
Relics:
- trinket that gives Fear and causes cavalry, beasts and monstrous creatures to autofail their Fear-tests
- terminator armour that also gives a 4++ and IWND
- sword that is S+1 AP2 Mastercrafted
- wolfclaw-set that gives +d3 attacks and rending
- Assault 4 boltgun with Helfrost
- trinket that allows reroll to hit for all failed hits in melee
