Apparently quite a few of the collectors models, which includes a ton of Imperial Guard miniatures and more, have been removed from the Games Workshop site. Whether this means that they are gone, are being redone in finecast, or are being que'd for some near future release, is unknown at this time.

For now though, the speculation and late night conspiracies are all that we have.

    1. Head by yourself to the GW site... where there used to be all the metal cadians, catachans, steel legion, valhalla and tallarn minis, Gaunt's Ghosts and col. Schaeffers now there is none. Nada. Warp took em all

  2. I'd be surprised GW re-releases all these old minis in finecast, given there are a ton of plastic sprues nowadays. And while this is a pity for collectors, I suppose it's not very efficient for GW to maintain lines that presumably have very low rotation.

  3. If they don't bring them back that sucks. I really wanted more Steel Legion, Tallarn Raiders and Gaunts ghosts, And now their price will probably skyrocket on ebay.
They really seem to be streamlining their line all of a sudden, with dropping specialist games and now this. I wonder if it has something to do with the sale rumors.

    1. For the Gaunts' Ghosts I'd recommend looking elsewhere, for example Victoria Miniatures.

  8. Simple answer - was floated round the net a month or two back.
GW are no longer producing metal models and have been selling off old stock just check through what available on the specialist games practically nothing left there ether Gothic range is almost gone and many other ranges are dwindling...

Also FW Gothic range and epic range are gone.

  9. I sure hope they make a return, though I'm not holding my breath...

Soooo... does that mean those old IG models that I have in a box might actually be WORTH something?

  10. During your enforced departure, there was a post on a few of the other sites (need to see if I can find them) that the Collector Minis have gone the way of the Specilist and Historical games and such. Once an item was sold out, that is it, no more.
