The latest leaks are out from the July White Dwarf, and check out what is in the center of the Tesseract Vault!!!! Some sort of Transcendent C'tan? Of course not sure I like the green, but its a great image and idea for the godlike powers I am sure this thing will have. Necron players rejoice. I think this alone will sell a lot of this model. What a great surprise. I don't even play necrons and I want one.

These pics will not be up long, so check them out where they lay.

  1. Yeah, kinda reminds me of "The Watchmen", Dr. Manhattan, maybe paint him in blue!

  2. It's a captured Primarch, powering the Tesseract Vault with his pure awesome.

    1. That was my first thought as well, pretty cool idea nevertheless.

  5. I can see the tesseract being immensely popular. Even if you don't play Apoc, it doubles up as a monolith and a C'tan shard for 40k games. The did some great work with this model. Grats GW!

    1. I wonder how it compares, scale wise, to the old lith

    2. My guess: As high as a monolith, three times the surface and STILL Deep Strike without a rule to make it land safely :P

    3. Technically (FAQ pending) if it is also a skimmer it can if it scatters onto an enemy model, since it counts as having moved and if a skimmer is forced to end it's move within 1" of an enemy model it's moved the min distance away.

    4. where did you dug up this rule for skimmers?

    5. I still dispute that interpretation of that rule. I'm not exactly a rules lawyer, so digging up page numbers isn't exactly my thing, but it just seems an obvious oversight on GW's part rather than the actually interpretation.

    6. Yes, people busted that myth so hard it's now being told on 9gag.

    7. Until GW release an FAQ it's still under discussion so I don't really care if "people have busted that myth". I always agree with my opponent about it if I meet new people and its accepted at both clubs I go to an my local GW store.

  6. So it makes a "Tesseract Vault" OR an "Obelisk with a transcendant C'tan".
So it IS a dual build after all! Hmm, if only that could be used as the Monolith.. The old model is a little too non-detailed and old.

  7. That is just so awesome. Almost makes me want to put up the bugs and take up an army GW actually supports.

    2. What a dumb comment. Tyranids are after Space Marines, you know.

    3. I'm also a Sisters player.

And at McDoogle: the last 'nid release only included about half of the models - I'll wait until I see pictures of actual models and rumors of an actual release before I start counting on that one. After the 5th release, I've kind of lost faith.

  8. There are a shitload of new pics on dakka of the new terrain and the lord of battles. Seems like dakka is becoming the new place to go to find your leaks

  9. Hopefully it won't be as useless as the monolith(curse you ordnance) or an altered rule set. The model itself is awesome never the less.
