    1. GW leaks this stuff themselves the week before a WD.

A GW management staffer (not a store manager, a guy above that level) said in front of a few of us, "...blah blah when we leaked the Necron pictures..." before their release months back. Their rumor control is quite good otherwise, far better than when the Ork codex pdf was on the Internet long before it hit stores.

    2. Are you sure? Sounds like something id say if I didnt want people to know GW had failed. " Oh yeah we leaked those pics on PURPOSE." yeah right...

  2. Oh boy... Egyptian themed characters and re-released resin kits, now more expensive! A destroyer lord used to be £13.50 before they released the new codex- how much is it now?
I don't have many problems with the plastic kits, but the characters don't fit with my idea of Necrons (I'm too traditional for this stuff - soulless metal robots shouldn't have personalities :D).

    1. their makeing everything more goofy so it sells better to kids... its the new trend

    2. Yes, Because making something more complex and less simple makes it appeal more to children. Btw, *you're, also *making.

  3. This is The Art, not just miniatures / plastic soldiers / whatever... Really, the next step in sculpting is done.

  4. So is the triarch walker going to be on a large oval base or no base at all?

    1. No base from the looks of it, just like a Defiler. Doesn't matter, you measure to the hull, not the legs. Personally I would rather they stick to putting big models on that big oval base for rules issues.

    2. yeah sure... but try telling that youre opponent in a game... they messure to legs if they assault or any time they need a few more inch. And when its youre turn suddenly its hull only.

    3. Might have to just put them on the oval bases so everything could just be measured from the same point... Not sure if that would be legal or not, but it makes the most sence.

  13. Nemesor Zahndrekh is VERY COOL! As is Illuminor Szeras!

Not so sure about Obyron, he's ok.

The heavy destroyer and destroyer lord are a great big meh! But they're not my favourite units anyway so not too disappointing.

With so many cool miniatures released I'm VERY happy. Nemesor Zahndrekh is going to be converted into the one, the only Phaeron Taanekh!

  14. Jesus Christ, but those tomb blades are ugly.
Other than that I love the new releases. Spyders and wraiths are fantastic and the Stalker just begs to be converted in various ways. Pricetag for the stalker is higher than I expected, but is, considering the size, okay, I guess.

  15. one thing i find odd is the base the spyder is on... a SMALL flying base for a monstrous creature? but the wraits have a 40mm round base? odd, very odd
