My only question with the Decimator is with its Daemonic Possession. Forgeworld listed a BS 3 so daemonic possession should lower the Ballistic skill of the walker down to 2, which would suck, or is possession supposed to included into the profile of the walker. (I have not gone back to check the codex)

Judging by the BS 3, I'm pretty sure the way they wanted it was to be BS 4 lowered to 3 due to the possession. I can't imagine they would put such nice guns on something that couldn't shoot worth a damn.
ReplyDeleteIt already comes with deamonic possession so its BS would be whats listed on the profile. I believe its 3...

ReplyDeleteDaemonic Possession DOESN'T give a vehicle -1BS, it sets it to BS3. If a BS2 vehilce bought Daemonic Possession, it's accuracy would *improve*.
ReplyDeleteSince daemonic possession cant be taken by anything but CSM vehicles, then it reduces it to BS3. But no BS3 or 2 vehicles have it as an upgrade, so it can never *improve* BS.
DeleteDaemonic possession (I think somebody already said this) gives you BS 3. However, as it can only be taken by vehicles with BS 4, I think this may be where the confusion stems from, as it always appears to lower the BS by 1. Therefore, I assume that it is included in the profile, like the Defiler (although they could just have said that, to avoid any confusion).
