We all know now that Apocalypse is coming in July, and the cover and a pic has been leaked and is now just everywhere. So what is it that is coming?

I have a little snippet that Forgeworld will also be updating its apoc book in the same month as Games Workshop and a little bit more.

Please remember that these are rumors, and salt is always required.

I am getting small bits of information regarding the Apocalypse Supplement release.

Apocalypse
Only the Imperial Guard and Orks are not getting an a new Apocalypse vehicle, but they could be getting new apoc aircraft. It seems so that all armies will have 1 apoc vehicle and 1 aircraft.

Forgeworld
We should be seeing a FW apoc book same month as GW apoc release covering all vehicles and aircraft from previous apoc books

  1. Could the bit about IG and Orks mean we could be seeing new Tyranid apoc units as well? Now I'm excited!

This also seems to line-up well with the rumors posted about the Dominatrix; could be getting an actual model of it this time around!

  2. "It seems so that all armies will have 1 apoc vehicle and 1 aircraft."

So Dark Eldar might get a viable Apocalypse unit? This almost make up for the awful Throne of Battle that Chaos is stuck with.

    1. Dark Avatar of Commorragh and a Super-charged Dias of Destruction...?
Who needs fluff when you have the rule of cool? xD

  3. This seems so strange for me.
Forge World has removed the Apoc Books from their site one or two months ago. Why release a GW book and a FW book splitting the profit?

    1. How does it split the profit? It increases the profits. You have to buy the GW book for the new Apoc rules and all the updated GW Datasheets, while you will need to pick up the FW book to get the latest Apoc rules for the FW models.

    2. Uh this way they sell two books? Pretty simple.

  4. "It seems so that all armies will have 1 apoc vehicle and 1 aircraft."

As a Sisters of Battle player I seriously doubt this...

"all armies except the Sisters of Battle" would probably be a more accurate statement...

    1. Sadly i think your right......

    2. Well I doubt Tau or Eldar will get something as they've just had a "load" of new releases.

    3. Maybe they meant each army would get one apoc unit and one apocalypse flyer? Instead of just another normal one.

    4. Eldar just got the Wraithknight. That's nothing to sneeze at.

    5. and all marines but space wolves will have a flyer...

    6. if you dig for rumors a bit more, the eldar are getting a super heavy vehicle. I'm thinking the Cobra

  6. I think that the orks flyer would be: a bomber or a weird copta. In the Imperial Guard, the flyer would be the thunderer (or marauder, but I doubt it).
The space marine woulb be the "HOLY THUNDERHAWK" and a new Leman Russ type (or the crapy mech).

  7. New Apoc units for all armies other than Orks and Guard? My Dark Eldar and Space Wolves armies are dubious toward your claim, good sir.

    1. Well space wolves would probably be lumped in with other space marines, but DE could get some!

    2. DE could potentially share a kit with Eldar.

  8. Aparently they are also releasing a model for Imperial Knights so that would cover the various SM chapters and SoB.

Honestly though i cannot see them releasing any more than kits maximum

    1. meant to say 4 kits maximum...stupid technology!

  9. Imperial Guard and Orks may not get anything (yet), because of two things:

    1. There will be more than one Apocalypse wave.
    2. Imperial Guard and Orks codices aren't that far off...

    1. Or they want you to buy Baneblade and Stompa. Because, ya know, they're already out...

    2. They're still getting an Apoc flier each.
Last I heard Orks were getting a flying fortress gunship plane thing (technical term there... for an ork!) although I've also heard Roks (which would function like huge capacity drop pods) but I'm more doubtful of that, maybe for the codex though with luck

  10. One vehicle and one flyer per army? Not in one wave. Just look at what we get in a general release. OR compare it to the flyer release last year. Now consider 10+ large models. Yeah highly unlikely.

The Empire will get something just because they are the largest group of players, we know that Crons and CHaos is getting something... so maybe thats all?

  11. I think the real question here is whether or not the giant awesome discount boxes will be making a return.

    1. Im guessing your being sarcastic about this as we all know GW like to make bundles which cost the same price as buying things individualy, but i was looking at some of the new releases earlier and it turns out buying the new box of space marine bikers is cheaper than buying them individualy. I was all like whoooa

    3. Necron Destroyers are also cheaper by the box of 3; as are Eldar Jetbikes, Wraithguard (which switched from ugly metal 2nd ed models to the cool, new plastic ones).

The Apocalypse boxes were far cheaper. The 3 Carnifexes were literally the price of 2, for example.

  12. Apoc Flyer for Guard? Marauder would be too much to ask for, but maybe they have finally recut the Valkyrie so that one box builds either Valkyrie or Vendetta straight outta box, and the other box is the Vulture Gunship.

  13. that would imply Sisters get one. (hears to hopping)

  14. I will only beliewve new tyranid creatures when I see them :P GW isnt that into our beloved bugs -.-

  15. i dont believe this, 2 New Giant Models for all Armies, never ever in 1 Wave or better never ever in 1 Year!
