    1. She seems to have some sort of way of seeing the videos early.

    2. If you look the uploaded date of the video on YouTube... May 11, but was set not to be publish. Someone good with URL can find stuff prior the date.

    4. @hu jin tau, i'm a girl xD

@others, no, you can't see the vids earlier xD and the youtube URL is just a number-code, no words ;) but it's always funny to read some speculation :P

  2. $11 bucks lolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll. If you've seen me around, you'll know I very rarely talk s*** but imo that is bull. TS upgrade finecast bits are WAY too much.. I totally see a badass plastic upgrade kit being a lot more than the crappy TS upgrade parts. $20 minimum.

    1. Oops, sorry. Hit Enter. I bet they might even go higher than $20 because they know what's up with bitz sellers.

    3. i see 10 pads, 5 torso's and five bolters, x1 special weapon- of which are different per "chapter kit" to represent characters etc or what have you. 5 heads and 5 legs as well. min price UK. 14 min price. $30 US. min price Aus $70.

    4. not sure i can agree on the idea of 10 pads to 5 torsos. generally only one pad per marine features chapter decal, the pads from the other side can just be taken from whatever kit is being used.

      Delete
    5. I actually doubt they will put legs into upgrade kits, as the legs were historically a limiter to the amount of models that could be assembled from any given kit.

      Delete
    6. I too think no legs, everything else sounds good. Even at $20

    7. Canadian 20-30 for upgrades (I could guess at 21 something but I don't know Shit) and 60 for assault squad. So we don't have to spend 100 for a Customized assault squad... Sarcasm, let it settle. We only have to spend 80-90 lol

    8. I bet Its just 5 pads

      For what? 15,- €
      3,-€ per upgrad per Marine

Cant imagine GW giveing us better deals The metal / finecast pads arent that cheap. Why would this be?
      Probably limited on Top.

  3. My bits bin is bursting with Wolf heads, shoulders and chests. Now if it had more power weapons, Wolfy flamers and melta guns, or even helfrost guns and cannons...

    1. agreed, those would be much more useful kits. as well as kits of 5/10 sets of power armour of specific types, would also be fantastic.

    2. Like the absolutely perfect and relatively new Grey Hunters box set? Space Wolves get their jam when it's their turn. Be quiet. I know anything to gripe about GW is the "in" thing, but seriously... Stop grasping at nothing.

    3. ^ said the only one grasping at....something. no really if you see these two griping you need your eyes checked out.

  4. It will be interesting to see the DA sprue. I never care for their rules but I love the iconography. Much of it is incorporated into parts of my homebrew chapter.

  6. For that price they will probably be very small/limited and probably only have enough bits for 5 models.

    2. I expect it will be in a clampack like a character would be. Same sort of size I reckon.

    3. Limited, yes. I can definitely see these selling out really fast and never being produced again— similar to a certain polystone terrain kit.

    4. Lots of Work for chinamen then? ;)

      I hate limited stuff! -.-

      Delete
    5. Bah. I will not be shocked. I passed that point last year.

      Delete
    6. Its already been confirmed, there is only 20 pieces in the kit.. no legs.. only one torso, 10 pads and some other chapter specific bits and heads

  7. An Ultramarines kit... I want to believe... I want to believe...

    ... It'll probably be crap. :I

    1. You can always get stuff from Forge World. They are making Ultras at the moment!

      Delete
    2. I waited two+ years for those HH Ultramarines and honestly - they're a bit underwhelming. The sculpt work on the feather masks even looks a little... undefined, especially when compared to the Honor Guard.

I just hope the other stuff looks better later.

I currently sculpt all my own Ultramarines logos, but thats already getting boring 2 squads in :P

      Delete
    3. But ultras are meant to be boring.

      Delete
    4. If the Ultramarines sprue can recreate the characters from the Space Marine video game... now that would be something.

      Delete
    5. I used to hand paint all my Ultramarine logos until I discovered MicroSet and MicroSol. Combined with 'Ard Coat and Lahmian Medium, you can make just about any decal look like part of the paint job.

From the more imaginative artwork, it looks like Ultramarines aren't supposed to be boring at all. The Chapter is too revered and has too much in the way of resources to be as plain as the typical GW figure makes them appear.

Veterans and experienced Tactical Marines are often shown with pieces of ancient armor, unique helmets, Ultramarine logos with gilded edges, banners, and tassels. Their wargear is often decorated with Chapter logos and emblems, all with a neo-Roman/Greek look.

It seems pretty odd to make a Blood Angels upgrade kit, though. The BA Tactical Squad and Death Company kits are absolutely stuffed with Chapter-specific bits.

    6. Hi James. I use the Testors decal solvents with their gloss and matte varnish. I always wondered why Citadel was late to that party.

      Delete
    7. Thank you James! If you don't like Ultras, then just don't. Can't see why they have to lame and boring just because they are the "standard" marines.

      Delete
  8. FYI...

The kits contains about 20 parts each...
10 shoulder pads wich chapter icons...
The rest is heads, weapons, other blings...

    1. Thanks! Not quite what I was expecting. I want one of the Dark Angels sprues, but only one. I'm already swimming in bitz waiting to be used. If these are limited edition I won't be weeping if I miss out.

      Delete
    2. Another thing— considering the small size of these sprues, the rumoured price of $11.00 USD would be reasonable.

  10. The Space Wolves upgrade sprue is no longer on the Canadian GW webstore.
