Codex: Imperial Knights- Images

There are a bunch of pics that have been released in the sample images for the Digital versions of the new Imperial Knight codex that is coming next weekend. While these don't reveal too much, there is always a few nice pages to read and artwork to view.

Here are some of the images that were included.

    3. Nooe they are called the Sacristans or tech-preist artificers, don't have anything to do with the legio titanica

    4. translation: they are the poor mans's admech tech-priests whom aren't of high order or really part of the admech per usual...but kinda like imperial "ork meks"...

    5. Meant to say Collegia Titanica. Bah. Are Sacristans not part of the Collegia? Thought so since technically Knights are a class of small titan.

    6. No, because while they are knight Titans, Knights arn't part of the collegia Titanica either and are an independent imperial faction, they commonly go to war with Titans as working together is benificial to both organizations, even the Knight Houses sworn to the AdMech arnt classed with the Titans and have a high level of autonomy, and the Sacristans are blessed to work on such fine example of the omnisiahas wrath and arnt just shlomo tech engineers like the grunts who have to work on IG tanks lol

    7. Knights are only Titans on the box name.
Knights are not Titans in the fluff. Knights are Knights and Titans are Titans. Just like a Rhino is not a Land Raider. (But they are both tanks)

    1. Best thing about the Freeblade Knights is that you're free to create your own, with its own story/fluff, if you so desire :)

    2. Yeah, BUT, Gerantius and Obsidian Knight already have existing rules. So not including them would be stupid.

  9. I too am really curious if the rules for the freeblades will be in it, are they now obsolete etc

  10. Unlikely to be obsolete. This week's WD specifically mentions freeblades, inc Gerantius, and even answers a question about them in the Grombrindal bit at the back. Would be odd to do that and make them obsolete 1 week later.

  12. Freeblade rules: You take the Knight you prefer, paint it how you want and put your own markings on it. Add your fluff. Done.
What do people mean "Will it have freeblade rules?"
Do people need everything spelled out for them?
GW goes deep into Freeblade fluff and lore in the old Dex and this one.
