    2. A little bit but I see more of Mark Strong, the actor who voiced Captain Titus.

    3. And they are going to go through all the factions pre-demon beforehand.

A FW staffer let slip that the current Horus (Lupercal) model was one of two they would be making - the next one being after his fall, and as part of a 2-piece with the Emperor.

    4. Except that Word Bearers have a fair few of Daemonic units and can ally with Daemons...

    5. Yeah, definitely Mark Strong, rather than Stannis.

    6. Ok. Now I see Mark Strong more.

      Can't decide which

    7. Do a google image search of Paul Bettany. I can see a combination of him and Mark Strong for this picture.

  2. So no World Eaters in there. I'm guessing then we'll see another ultramar book with daemon Angron.

    1. Maybe but Angron becomes daemon prince after he leaves Calth

    2. Well he was never at Calth to start with.

    3. You mean Nucreia Angrons "home world"

  3. I hope we will see some traitor WB models then (like in the video artwork) or the daemonologist.

    2. Magnus and maybe sanguinis are the only ones that wont just be big marines.
Those & the emperor are the only ones i really want to see.

This whole HH line has been dragging on for way to long.
They just released tons of ultras and no One cares. Its only diffrent Icon 90% of the releases.

    2. 100% serious! Just started a WB army with Erebus and the Mhara Gal dread =D

      Delete
    3. Boooo, I play Word Bearers (40k) and still hate Erebus! Good for you though.

    4. I just like how the model kind of looks like an angry John Malkovich =P

  6. They're really nailing the art when they combine pictures or miniatures with artwork.

    1. Yeah. But the scale is off!
Warhounds are not that much smaller than reavers.
Makes me think if they photoshoped the warlord to be bigger aswell. Cheating size!

      Delete
    2. ^^some people you can never please...

      Delete
    3. Dud Its clearly photoshoped to make the minis look bigger.
Google for a pic with warhound & reaver.

If they did this with beer bottles in ads you would maybe be unpleased after buying a clearly smaller One?

    2. At least that fits with the fluff, nobody remembers the White scars....

  10. Yeah! How about the final chapters; Blood Angels, Dark Angels(both side), 1000Sons and White Scars. Do we have to wait until book 10 dammit!!!

    1. Yes it is and it got D effect against all of your opponent army just for gazing at it...

    2. Pretty sure that is their shadows word variant

    3. That one's already up on the site: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/The_Horus_Heresy/Legiones_Astartes/Legion_Vehicles/LEGION_FALCHION_SUPER_HEAVY_TANK_DESTROYER.html

Looks pretty badass though! Wish it had been included in the Lost and the Damned IA book!

  12. Anyone have any idea when this will drop? Gotta start saving early since it'll be probably around £78.

  13. One book closer to Prospero. The fire of war will burn with hate and the Vlka Fenryka will bring ruin upon Prospero.

    2. Yeah, around this time next year we'll start hearing murmurs about the murder-make I reckon.

    3. I hope so. Been looking forward to Prospero since the start of Forgeworld Horus Heresy.

  15. Does anyone know if the two smaller Horus Heresy army rule books FW released that include rules for various space marines chapters found in books 1-3 also include the Mechanicum FW unit rules? From the description it appears to only be space marines but I'd really be interested in the Mechanicum rules. Can anyone confirm if the small format (red) books have the Mechanicum rules in addition to the space legion rules? Appreciate the help.

    1. Sorry Hamnurgler, it's Astartes only.

      Delete
    2. Last GenCon they said they'd likely do something like that after they added plenty more Mechanicum units. Which probably means not until they cover the Mars Civil War.

      Delete
    3. Ah ok. Thank you, gentlemen. I think I'll hold off then to see if they release a compilation of Mechanicum rules. Appreciate the info.

      Delete
    4. Im pretty sure the Mechanicum is in the red set, I dont have them here at work but if memory serves that stuff is in there.

      Delete
    5. To be precise, there ARE rules for the Thallaxi and the Castelax, but nothing more. ^^

      Delete
    6. That's odd that FW didn't just put the entire army list in there. Oh well, thanks for the heads-up.

  16. One step closer to Prospero and the Sisters of Silence.

    1. When brothers clash with bitter blades songs will be sung and sagas made. When skies darken and battles rage legends are forged and hero's razed. When history is retold and accounts made all will remember Prospero a blaze.

      Delete
    2. W00t?
      Prospero was onesided slaughter.
      Magnus even forsaw it.
What hero gangs up on inocent?

      Delete
    3. He forseen it and didnt nothing so he had all the nollage he needed to stop the slaughter and chose to let it happen. What does that say.

plus before the assault Leman Russ asked him to give himself up and not push the matter so Magnus could of stopped all of this but didn't.
