These two look very similar. This comparison was sent into the Faeit 212 inbox, and shows the new Forgeworld Christmas jigsaw image compared to a Tartaros Terminator model side by side. Check it out.

    1. Mortarions special Terminators that were his protectors. Nameless, faceless, perfectly identical in every way. Only Mortarion knew who they actually were.

    2. Thanks very much. I'm assuming they have special rules? Could you briefly elaborate?...

    3. You'll find their rules in the Betrayal book. Basically some beefy mini-characters in terminator armour

    4. They all have Terminator armour, scythe (power axe that may swap attacks to have one attack for every person in base contact) and a flamer (I think :S)

    5. HAND-flamer (with shred and gets hot!), they are also scoring in games that allow troops to score (despite being a HQ slot) and can be taken as bodyguard of any terminator armoured Praetor (HQ type) or Mortarion. Can also take landraider phobos dedicated transport, but only if they can fit in it.
      Oh, and scythes are two-handed.

  4. Does anyone think it could be guy that was in the door way the other day?

    1. Nah, its Heresy era 'artificer' armoured Techmarine.. you heard it first here folks. ;-p

    2. I doubt it's a deathshroud or even a character because the armour is pretty non-descript, like it could be tailored to any army. Maybe it's a pre-heresy tartarus set.

Although by the looks of the armour. It wouldn't surprise me if they did out of the blue a pre-heresy typhus. In fact, that's what I'm saying it is.
So the exact opposite of what I said in the first paragraph XD

    3. It won't be Typhus because he isn't in "Betrayal"

    4. Deathguard love being non-descript, especially the deathshroud, they're all anonymous! Their rules also have them in squads (ie not just 2 of them as people expected)

    5. The 'guy in the door' was just a mk3 power armor figure painted to match Waldo from from the 'Where's Waldo?' books. Blue legs = jeans, Red/White Stripes = classic jumper

  5. OK clearly its jar jar binks.

  6. BTW, thanks for cobbling the pieces together, Natfka. I get the newsletter, but don't have the skill to match up the pics... Appreciated...

  7. It's definitely not a terminator. Look at the chest plate

  8. Deathshroud. That is certainly the scythe they showed at Games Day in his right hand. I've gone over the pictures, checked them together, and there is no doubt about it anymore.
