Here is a pic of where I am at. I am down to the final details, that I just don't have enough lung capacity to finish tonight. No more fumes until at least tomorrow when I will get a chance to a little more work.

Once again, I will get into some of the details on how all this went together, as well as some of the terrains features.

  1. ThT is some awesome terrain you have there... Haveyou thought about mixing that with the buildings to make an "over grown abandoned outpost" theme?

    1. my goal was to get enough base terrain for a table first. I will be expanding it to include extras like old wrecks and othe signs of a previous battlefield.

A friend of mine is bringing me over a chaos symbol tonight. Some of the details that still need to be done, are a few skeletal corpses tangled into the shrubery.

  2. Looks good man, I like your painting of the rocky pieces and the bits of flora you have added to them, a good level of realism without being impractical from a gaming sense.

  3. Did you stick those trees into the foam or did you glue them? Don't they destroy your foam or is it hard.

    1. The trees and flora are all stuck into the styrofoam and glued. Since the foam has a hard shell I use a toothpick to puncture a hole.

After the trees and foliage are glued into their planted holes, a ring of super glue around the base of each one, helps keep them in solid with no movement.

Because of the terrain matieral, just glueing them to the surface is problematic. I have tried a lot of different ways in the past, and by far, they need to be "planted"
