On the 40k Anniversary if you happen to head down to your local hobby center, meaning GW store, you will be able to get your hands on a few things announced yesterday by Games Workshop. Here is the post.

The date for the Warhammer 40,000 anniversary party is fast approaching, and with just over a week to go before the big day we thought we'd take a look at the cool memorabilia that you can get from your local Hobby Centre on the day. The first and most obvious thing to get your hands on is the special edition miniature based on the original Rogue Trader artwork. If you haven't seen it already, check out this blog post where you can see it from every angle. This model has proven so popular that we are now sold out in every country, save for a scant few that managed to make their way to our Australian warehouse earlier in the week (you lucky people!). That means the only way to get this model now is from a Games Workshop store on Saturday 25th February and there won't be many of them there either, so you'll have to be there early if you want to get one.

But that's not all. We've also got several other goodies, including a mouse mat, rubber bracelets, a 420mm x 297mm poster of the original Rogue Trader artwork (featuring the aforementioned Crimson Fist) and a commemorative 25th anniversary pewter pin badge. Much like the special edition Space Marine, they will only be available in our stores on the 25th February, not before and certainly not after (because there will be none left).

To find out what your nearest Games Workshop Hobby Centre is doing for the Warhammer 25th anniversary, make sure you check out their Facebook page for more information or head into the store and chat to the staff about what they've got going on.
