This just in, and you will have to be on top of it to get them. No pre-order, first come first serve. There is a lot going on, and staying on top of what is coming out has it's advantages.

Munitorum dice, objective markers, and vehicle damage dice
Hi, this is a minor thing but I figured it would be a good way to spread the word a bit, all these limited edition dice will be available July 28th, we were informed in an internal email. They will be first come first serve, with no preorder. Anonymous for now, as it's still internal information.

  1. So available through GW only? This is really getting silly. I hope they realize when they kill off the FLGS and internet retailers that their product reaches a massively smaller audience. What about those of us that pre-ordered them when they were supposed to come out. Only to find they weren't coming out. I love 6th ed and am not a GW hater by nature but the release for a major edition change had a good number of mistakes.

  3. Last I checked, I think my FLGS gets them for $16.25. Personally, I'm not a fan of any of these dice and will just stick with the 40mm base objective markers and usual dice on top of the vehicle, but hey, that's just me.

  4. Yeah I get my dice at the dollar tree, a pack of ten d6's for $1. Those are nice looking and all but I'd rather spend the money on things for my army than for stuff like dice and tape (don't get me wrong I do love the look of the sevo skull tape).

  6. an engineering professor did a study of ten plus types of D6 dice with something like 30-40 of each type rolled anout a hundred times and found that in all dice except casino dice not drilled out gor resale rolled 1's 19.7% of the time vs the statistical 16.7% that should be rolled. short story, buy the dice you like and just fire enough twin- link so it doesn't matter :)

    1. Ive read all the dice studies, and because most dice are really not made well, imperfections can give dice a well known advantage to better rolls. Somewhere buried in the blog is a full study on dice.

    2. Rolling dice 100 times is hardly a good test.
