This afternoon we are looking at what looks like a new piece of terrain in the 6th edition rulebook. While i am not 100% on it, I don't remember seeing these before. When it comes to new models, even though I have been around this hobby for a long time, I still am not the best at finding new things hidden on pages.

Please by all means comment and let us know if you have seen these before, and if not, what do you think we are looking at, a future release?

I have attached page 93 of the new rule book.  The arrows I have posted there point to wall sections I have never seen before, and I've been around since Rogue Trader days.  Think it might be a sneak peak of new Cities of Death buildings?

  1. Hmmmm... I dunno. The top right one is definately just part of a multimelta set in there...

    1. Kinda wonder how quickly they'd run out if they made highly sought after Xeno terrain? :P

  3. Think the one on the left is part of IG tank accessories and the right is def. a multimelta. I need to get out more..

  5. These were in another GW publication. Maybe the older cities of death? I definitely remember seeing those "multimelta" wall sections before.

  6. The thing below the melta looks like part of the tank command sprue...I think this is just some leftover bits on COD stuff...

  7. Unfortunately these aren't anything new although they aren't available to buy.

These a made of resin and used on Warhammer World tables for ruins and buildings. GW have had these there for a while and they are not anywhere else.

  8. Looks a lot of conversion, for instance the Empire statue from the chapel kit from fantasy, the multi-melta's glues into the walls. etc etc

  9. They are all conversions. The statue at 9 o'clock attached to the wall is one of the statues that comes with the Fantasy Chapel range. The skull and wings are bits off of Imperial Guard Vehicle sprue. Skull and scroll bits at 3 o'clock are from Sisters of Battle Immolater box and the bit at 2 o'clock is as styx said a melta gun from a Space Marine Speeder sprue. Just ways of showing us that even terrain models can be converted for different look and feel.

  10. Definitly conversions involving a multimelta in one, I also suspect this photo to have been photoshopped since the wall section withthe multimelta is exactly the same as the wall right next to it on the right hand side of the picture.

    1. Look between the legs of the Grey Knight... uh... big thing. You're absolutely right it's photoshopped. That wall is identical.

  11. From what I remember of an eBay sale a couple of years ago, those are prototypes for city of death pieces which never got mass produced, as they were test cast in china and were not up to standard, possibly too thick, and so others were done via a different manufacturer. Shame really as it would be nice to have more variety.

  13. The bit on the left could be scratchbuilt, with an and 3-up for the skull and wings. I know the statue in the Honoured Imperium box started out as a resin piece cast on request. These may well be along the same lines.

  14. right if you want to spot a new bit of terrain flick to back where they have the epic battle shots. There you'll see the pillions that feature in the terrain rules section. There the massive things with lots of skulls page 343. They could be scratch build from the tempal kit but there copy of each other suggesting that it a kit in it self.
