Finally we have some immediate information on the Chaos Space Marine rules and information. A big thanks to TastyTaste on getting this out for everyone. I highly suggest making sure you check out his site as well.

Please remember that these are rumors.

Thanks for waiting everyone.

First off, I typically have no idea on the release schedules, but my feelings tell me that this book will be coming out the first Saturday of September. Makes sense to me release some Demon stuff ahead of CSM, then have the 6th edition Starter Box for Oct and the holiday season. This though I could be totally wrong about so take it with extra salt.

Second, let me go over the latest rumor batch that hit last week concerning CSM with my two cents parentheses.

This was posted on various sites by Skcuzzlebumm
-Release date: September 1st
(my guess as well)

-Hard back
(my guess as well)

-There is an Eye of the Gods-like table ~like the WFB  Warriors of Chaos table.
You get to roll on whenever a character kills another character in a challenge, or a Walker or Monstrous Creature. There is a multitude of gifts (and curses) that your Characters can acquire which range from +1 Save, +1 Toughness, or becoming either a Spawn or a Daemon Prince!!!
(Sorta True — trying to lump all the funky stuff into one table  is not totally accurate. CSM codex is table land. Expect many random charts and upgrades it will be hard to keep track.)

-Chaos Cultists are in
(true– said this and others before)

-The Dragon flyer is in  – think Necron Night Scythe with the main chassis replaced by a massive mechanical dragon head with segmented wings sweeping forward and around from it.
(True – The thing looks like a dragon head attached to the Owl from Clash of the Titans)

-Dark Apostles – ~Word Bearers rejoice!!!
(True– but more of cultist leader/moral buffer)

-Warp Smiths – Chaos Techmarines that can curse vehicles and degrade terrain. ~maybe they’ll have anti-psychotic grenades
( True -Think Doc Ock )

-New Daemon Engine – half way between a Dreadnought and a Defiler.
(True -I would say halfway between Defiler and Trygon)

-Defilers are Daemons and have a 5+ Inv save.
(Yes a Demon, and some extra lovin…)

-’Cult’ units are all Elites and are unlocked to Troops by appropriate HQ choices
(True- Said this before, but have some good news on that front)

-No Cult Terminators ~boo hiss!!!
(-True, boo hiss!!!)

-Obliterators are exclusively for shooting – so no powerfists.
(-False they will shoot, but still have a powerfist)
HOWEVER there is a new unit which is basically a close combat Obliterator. (True)

-There are 2 types of Raptors now: regular CSMs with Jump Packs, and Possessed Daemonic Raptors with Lightning Claws. (True)

-Possessed take multiple benefits from the Eye of the Gods table. (not sure)

-NO Daemons in the Codex. (true, but allies FTW!)

–Important Designer Note–
The new CSM codex is not a return to the 3rd edition codex, this is the successor to Gav Thorpe’s creation– the current CSM codex. Unlike before Phil Kelly was put in charge of  building from the ground up; Space Wolves, Dark Eldar, and Orks codexes he instead has taken a much more subtle approach with the CSM Codex. This is not the reinvention of the wheel at its core this is a validation for Gav Thorpe and perhaps if you could ask Gav, Phil Kelly’s CSM codex would have been the codex he wished he could have written, but wasn’t allowed to.

–What will be Released–
We will know if GW has changed policy. This codex will reveal if GW has abandoned the wave method to model release with a new codex or if they have stopped caring and show you all the new models even if they don’t come out right away.
Finecast: Dark Apostle, Warsmith, New Lord, Oblits, All Old Special Characters not updated already
New Plastic: Dragon, Raptors, Dreadnaught, Demon Engine, Assault Oblits, Chosen
Upgrade Packs: Plague Marines, 1k Sons, Emperor’s Children

–General Changes–
Almost all of the old units are either the same point cost or have gotten cheaper. With the notable exceptions of Chosen, Terminators, Defilers getting more expensive. The notable cheaper ones being basic CSM, Oblits, Zerkers,  The CSM is really an upgrade codex, while things have gotten cheaper you will be hard pressed to keep your units inexpensive with all the wargear you can add. The cheaper units doesn’t come without a cost as well, almost all units saw a LD drop. Also you will start to see a lot of the new USRs in the CSM book.

 –What has stayed the Same–
The Cult units are the same in stats and basic wargear. No new Spacial Characters. Abbadon is still the only one with Eternal Warrior. Demon Weapons still can kill you. The Dreadnaught is still Crazy. The unit sizes have stayed the same as well as the wargear options found in the old codex; e.g. Chosen can still get a butt load special weapons.

–Psychic Powers–
As can you expect each Chaos God gives their chosen Sorcerer access to their own set of spells. That allows you to pick from Basic Spells and the new ones for each God. If anyone was wondering Lash of Submission is gone.
Ok now that we got the basics out-of-the-way let us get to the good stuff

–Daemons–
A good number of units in the CSM codex have this USR.
Raptors
Oblits
CC Oblit
Defilers
Demon Engines
Dragons
Possessed
Demon Prince

–It Will Not Die–
Wonder who was getting this new USR well you guessed it CSM is.
Dragons
Defilers
Demon Engines

Demon Possessed–
Demon possessed just got a whole bunch cuter really. Instead of not being able to embark in demon possessed vehicles they now will only eat one of your guys and repair itself. Otherwise works the same way as before lose BS and ignore shaken and stunned, In addition some things get wargear automatically.
Dragons
Defliers
Demon Engines

–Challenges–
All CSM characters must always accept challenges

–Icons and Marks–
Marks and Icons are both purchasable by most units. That means you have five new Icons and the same four marks, in which units can have a combination of two. This is a list of the USRs and stat bonus possible.
Fearless
FnP
+1 T
+1 Invul Save
Rage
Soul Blaze
Furious Charge
Fear
+1 I

–Space Marines Better Hide–
Almost all CSM units get Hatred Space Marines. Now I am not sure if this includes all Space Marine variants or just Smurfs and friends.

–?Eye of the Gods Table?–
Yeah this will be the chart to end all charts and competitive players will cry everywhere because it is random. All 60+random abilities! Yes you heard it right over 60! How it works I don’t know, but characters can get multiple rolls on the chart through various methods.
Time for some specific models right? Sure why not!

–Dragon–
Oh the Dragon yeah the model on everyone mind. This is a CSM answer to other flyers it is designed almost exclusively to hunt and destroy other flyers. Clocking in about the same points cost of Carnifex these little hell on wings Vector Strike and bring pain to a lot of things. Did I mention it gets to re-roll wounds and armor pens.

–Demon Engines–
The other mystery model that has been leaked. These guys sit on the large bases like Trygons. They have an assortment of special weapons that have never been seen before. They are designed for Building and Heavy armor destruction with Melta CC weapons and bonuses against buildings. They as well get to re-roll wounds and armor pens.  Side note: Defilers as well get to re-roll wounds and armor pen.

–Dragons, Demon Engines, Defilers oh my-
So let me put this in perspective. All these models ignore shaken and stunned, have 5+ invul saves, re-roll wounds and armor pens, and can recover wounds and hull points lost.

–Cult Units–
I know much of the Internet was crying about them only being in the Elite slot when I first mentioned it. How dare they force me to take Kharn to spam Berserkers! Well don’t worry is not as bad as you think. You can also get a generic Lord and buy the correct mark and unlock them as troops as well. As for the rules themselves just minor changes.
Zerkers: Rage, Cheaper
1k Sons: Soul Fire, Same cost
Emperor Children: Weapons Ignore cover and now have Salvo USR, Cheaper
Plague Marines: Poison Weapons, More Expensive

–Typhus and Cultists–
Typhus is now a mastery level 2 sorcerer of Nurgle. In addition as reported earlier he can make any cultist a zombie. Zombies are going to be disgusting in 6th edition. FnP, Fearless, Fear, and all for no additional cost. As for Cultists they are cheap not conscript cheap, but close. You can get over 30 of them in a squad.

–Daemon Princes, Sorcerers , Chaos Lords–
Princes got more expensive wargear bringing them in line with the Demon Codex. Sorcerers are pretty much the same with the ability to buy up to Master level 3, but they only ever have 2 wounds. Chaos Lords are where it seems to be at, Phil Kelly wants you to design a Lord tailored to your army, their list of wargear options is easily the largest of any model in the book. Also remember they allow you to make Cult Units troops.

Ok that is all I got for now, depending on how the week goes and what GW does I might get more rumors for you, but until now that is all I got. Wait, no I just remembered something…

  1. Well good for chaos players. Some interesting things in there indeed. Lets hope GW starts pumping out new content, I need something to hold my interest while I wait for tau lol

  2. Yay. Thousand Sons get Soul Blaze and the expensive ass sorcerer must accept challenges.

    1. Somehow my enthusiasm is gone. I fear that my 1k Sons will remain the laughingstock of my 40k group.

    2. Not so! I was talkin to a friend had playtesed the book and he mentioned the possibility that ALL of the thousand sons or what not would be pyskers. Think about it....

      Delete
    3. Your enthusiasm seems to be for only one single, tiny aspect of the codex - of which sounds to still be there + new upgrades. Who ran their 1k Sons into CC anyway? The rest of the codex sounds amazing to me! I'll take it. Gladly. In fact, send me those 1k Sons you're shelving. I'll put them to good use. I'll send you the blood-crusted video with loving hugs and kisses and "miss you"s from your neglected warriors; when you are ready, I'll send them back and you can apologize to your men face-to-face.

    4. I'm interested to see if Mark of Tzeentch still gives an extra mastery level. All those Asp Sorcs, with 2 powers would rock.

Nice to see Noise Marines getting cheaper, but are the weapons going to be stock or upgrades still?

  3. "The new CSM codex is not a return to the 3rd edition codex, this is the successor to Gav Thorpe’s creation– the current CSM codex."

Prepare for every other new codex of 6th to be a complete rework and csm to suck for another couple of years.

  5. Yeah, I'm seeing a lot in here that only benefits GK. With so many options having the Demon rule, and characters forced to accept challenges against things that will have better initiative.. Oh, and it just being a reinvention of the 4th ed codex? Color me disappointed.

    1. Personally I think it makes sense. Chaos Space Marines are all about PERSONAL glory. A chaos space marine should never decline a challenge. Why? Because its a chance to prove himself to his god and gain there favor.

    2. FLuffwise this my make sense ... but ruleswise all other chars (especially sgt. with powerweapons) are able to challenge our "hidden" powerfists :-(

      Delete
    3. That just means we're gonna have to be a little smart about it, I forsee 6th edition CSM builds being designed around dueling with the hopes to get some potentially powerful gifts.

      Delete
    4. with proper positioning you can avoid being a viable target for a challenge. Being unable to accept is different than refusing.

The only thing that's a question currently is whether or not you use base initiative, or attack initiative for piling in.

  11. Here we go again, just like when the rumors were dropping for 6th... this is going to be horrible! why would I want that? Can anyone have just a wee bit patience and wait for the book to come out, play a few games then past judgement?

    1. Well said, I couldn't agree more. Its extremely perfectic to see some many people only interested in statistical win capability rather then fun & fluff...Otherwise wheres the fun, ya might as well have some blank piles of plastic an call them "troops, elites and those are my heavyier troops" an just some numbers.

I for one can't wait to see this new codex cos finally its going to how it always should have been CHAOS...ya don't like that don't try an play a CHAOSSSSS army.

  12. Those 60+ things for EoTG is likely to be a unit or model(I forget) can roll and they can get any USR in the rulebook. Its a big chart. But dont worry. The codex is random but not uncompetitive. A very solid book.

Also just wanted to say I called it on the Dragon being nasty to other flyers :)

    ReplyDelete
  13. Honestly, a lot of this seems pretty cool to me. If the rules for the new Demon Engines are good, I may be tempted to start that Iron Warriors warband I've always wanted. Now that there's more than just the Defiler, a Dark Mechanicus-themed army seems possible!

Yes, Daemon is a problem against GK. But it also means an invulnerable save on a crap-ton of units! And those units are getting cheaper. 5++ isn't fantastic, but it's nothing to sneeze at, either. So against everyone BUT GK, Daemon is a noticeable improvement!

  14. Also Kharn is supposedly no longer "immune" to pyschic powers rather his deny the witch is a 2+

  15. Is it the nature of Chaos that all Chaos players just continually whine about whatever it is they get?

Firstly, whether its next month or October, you're clearly getting the next codex. You're not the only race running a psuedo-4th Edition Codex, so coun't yourself lucky you're not waiting until 2013/2014 like the other 4 races running on these outdated dexes.

Secondly, can people please stop moaning that they are unable to take thier codexes hardest, meanest units (i.e. Elites) as troop choices. This is for a reason, which is called balace of the game. No other army in the game can (Grey Knights excluded, for reasons we won't go into) so hoping Chaos would be allowed to take 100% elite units in an army and have them all count as scoring was never really going to happen was it.

Thirdly, people rage-quitting over auto-accepting challenges, gladly get out of the hobby and do us all a favour. You play Chaos, a race of self-centre individuals on a power trip determined to further thier own gains. If you were considering refusing challenges as a Chaos player, you shouldn't be allowed to play Chaos in the first place. Also, if WHFB is anything to go off (which every indication points towards) Chaos will not only be designed to nail anyone in a challege, they will get better everytime they do. Combined with the Warlord perk for picking up additional VP's in challenges, Chaos will be nearly impossible to beat in low number objective missions.

Finally, all your Deamon engines (which just grew in size) now get FnP for tanks in 'It will not Die' USR. Guessing, but this more than likely means vehicles with the Deamonic Possession upgrade will get this too. Considering how Hull points have reduced the effectiveness of vehicles severely, it would appear with this Chaos are going to be exempt from this nerf.

All in all, I'd say if the majority of this information is correct, the Chaos Dex is going to be one of the strongest out there. Flyers, Flying MCs, undoubtedly Anti-Air, Beat-stick characters (now clearly the best variety), Cheap basic marines, expense elite marines, the ability to chop/change/combine 9 different USR's on almost any unit, cheap scoring troops, Terminators (i.e. 6th editions gold medalists).

Can someone please give me some kind of sane reason why so many people are spitting the dummy out over this? Or is it really just a case of spoilt brat syndrome?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Because this is rhe internet and people like to spit out their frustrations that they cant have everything they want. And their opinions are ALWAYS right.

      Delete
    2. Fair point, well made. I retract all of the above :)

      Delete
    3. The only reason I can see a reasonable complaint is that currently, the cult marines are troops on their own. Changing them to elites means buying new troops, which is par for the course for GW. Plague Marines being the obvious, if someone has a ton of them at the moment for troops with nothing else, their army will need large purchases to be legal, IE buying new troops.

Then again if Typhus unlocks them, then there you go.

    4. Wow who made you king of 40K.

    5. They tried to crown me but I declined, fearing the wrath of the Emperor! :)
I'm just asking for the whiners to offer some justification as apposed to aimless whining. This is a forum for discussion, foot stomping and name calling belongs in the play ground.

I offered my critique with valid points and requested a counter arguement. that makes me an adult in a discussion, not the king of 40k.

    6. Right Jay.
In truth it's simply because their current build won't work the way 'it always has.' In other words the changes aren't just make everything better or add this or that unit to your current build. My first reaction to the Noise Marines was WTF!?!? SALVO! I can't shoot and charge anymore! From the sound of it though the shooting itself might be much better. Also with all the Deamon stuff is that my Night Lords just got shafted again, but there's alot of other good stuff in there for them too from the sound of it. So yes there are new options and powers and such but for some their tactics just changed noticeably or died altogether. You can add in the new units and other new models/powers to 'fill the gap' but for some of us it's not really an option, ex. Night Lords tend to SHOOT the deamons and possessed not befriend them.

      Delete
    7. To be honest if most of this stuff is true, I will be a happy Word Bearer. Dunno what people's issues with this line of rumors are. . .

      Delete
    8. Fluff.
Not lowering the point cost of the very expensive TS makes it hard to run a Thousand Sons army. Most chaos player don't give a *bip* about warbands. They want to play they favorite traitor legions and judging by these rumors, it just got harder for the Thousand Sons and the Death Guard.

      Delete
    9. Provided your character has the right mark, you can play your Legion.

It's done a bit poorly though, because your HQs do not feel like legion HQs in the least.

One could argue that berserkers were a unit in the Legion, and not all World Eaters were Berserkers, thus the ones in command wouldn't be Berserkers, but for things like Death Guard it stops making sense.

An HQ with a mark of nurgle is clearly not a Death Guard HQ. Just a dude with +1T. That part really disappointed me.

      Delete
    10. Yup, Rau is definitely a GK player! :P

      Delete
    11. @Rogue: while it is true that HQ's won't really feel like part of the player's chosen legion, for cult legions their SC's are their lords basically. It's a shame that we can't have an FNP Chaos Lord for the Death Guard. But it's a trade off we have to deal with.

I don't mind myself since I'm going for an Alpha Legion/Word Bearers army. So Chaos Undivided lords are ok with me.

Also all World Eaters are Bezerkers. It is stated in the fluff. Unless that changes in the new fluff.

      Delete
    12. @Phase - Because obviously we already know Mark of Nurgle doesn't give FNP as well? And we already know every item on the EXTENSIVE wargear list? Maybe there are Mark-specific wargear items too.

I agree with the dude way up near the top. Far too many people are jumping the gun and crying foul based on *limited RUMORS*...just like 6th. Make your definitive judgements after you see how the Codex is laid out guys...

      Delete
    13. I was refering to the fact that TS's cost is too high to built a decent army, especially below 1500 pts (assuming their cost doesn't change). Same with more expensive death guard.

Not to mention that apparently there is no rules for other legions beside the 4 cult troops. I was expecting things like jump troop for Night Lord, infiltrating troop for Alpha legion...etc

Judging from the rumour, I think this will be a pretty powerful codex (we will know after playing more games with it) but it seems to fail to meet what everyone (well lot of people) wants : Being able to field a legion and being at least slightly competitive. I want to play my Thousand Sons without having to take normal marines or other cult troop. Seems we will be stuck with warbands again.

      Delete
    14. Lol well I just pissed myself laughing at that longggg arse line of comments, Rau, ya a funny guy an I couldn't agree more. Theirs way to many people out there that still wish it was the 1990 prices and that every army they play was nice an easy to play so they can always win cos their clearly sad little losers.

Truth be told this New Chaos sounds AMAZING I always thought the basic troops being the elites was way out of balance and that the whole codex revolved around it, was never enough options for me. Now were getting options for Dark Mechanus army's, Characters that actually work like chaos characters would fight and actual intevention from chaos gods with this random power/curse chart, LMFAO I can't wait for this codex, its going to be sooooo fun.
An anyone else who's like me an loves to read the fluff an make an army thats fun, NOT a statistical game winning army eat your heart out cos combine this codex with the new 6th edition rules sounds devine....I mean!! putrid, ermmm horrible? ahh whatever just think of something chaos'y to add to that end statement ;)

  16. Warlords Cometh

If you are currently complaining about Warlord traits being too random well play that violin some more. GW really wants you to use them! The CSM codex has it’s own Warlord chart, but the big announcement is some characters have specific Warlord Traits! These are built into the cost of the model, so no taking them out!

No cult terminators, -dreads and -havocs is a blow, but daemon engines sound sexy.

    1. One rumor I've heard is that Legions are in but not... basically it's just the "take X mark on your HQ" stuff expanded. So take a named Lord or X mark/upgrade and suddenly your force org chart swaps around, AKA kit your warlord with 'Night Lord' upgrades and undivided/no mark and suddenly Assault Marines/Bikers are troops. Alphas get Infiltrators, Irons that Dark Tech Marine thing, etc.

    2. that could make a lotta sense, they'd no longer have to balance legion rules 100% perfectly because if from a rule point of view the world eaters are worse then iron warriors well, a iron warrior chaos lord would be more expensive to account for it

    3. yeah, no big special units/upgrades/price changes just a 'oh, your X is a troop choice now' if you drop points in this guy.

Thousand sons, Noise Marines and Plague Marines as upgrade kits? GTFO, give us propper plastics!

  30. Regarding terminators, after reading the list of Marks and Icons that you can mix and match it seems as though you can make your own.
    Fearless
    FnP
    +1 T
    +1 Invul Save
    Rage
    Soul Blaze
    Furious Charge
    Fear
    +1 I

Seems like out of those and depending on wargear you can get Berzerkers,NoiseMarines Tsons and Plagues from that.

    2. That's what it says on top. You pick a combination of the 5 icons and of the 4 marks and u get a a couple of the USRs listed above...

    3. Seems unlikely. First off having marks and icons from conflicting Gods doesn't make sense. Having Furious Charge and +1 Initiative would be nice but no way Khorne would gift the same marines as Slaanesh and vice versa. What I'm thinking is that Marks affect whole squads while icons are for the lords. Isn't that how it was anyway? Don't have codex with me so I can't check.

This would also suck since you wouldn't be able to join lords of opposing Gods. I believe this is the way it was in the 3rd ed codex.

  31. As a completely new player who is waiting to get back from overseas to start building an army, I am stoked out of my mind for this Codex to get released. I spent 4 days reading the 6th edition cover to cover and have firmly decided to exclusively use CSM. No matter what obstacles are presented, even I can see that if half the rumors are true CSM will be truly formidable.

I learned about 40k overseas in the marines and had an entire deployment (well.... on the ship at least) to read 4th edition.

I determined that CSM was certainly the army for me. I don't care what happens, really. Tsons!!!

"Much of what i've heard and already posted...but very nice to get more details on the new daemon engine! And the Legion feel is definitelt back in the codex without being super restrictive! "Cult Terminators" are back in their new version of being much more customizable. Now i can't wait to see the models i saw drawings of!!!"

Wait what!? His rumors are way off! He threw so much crap out there that sure hes bound to get one or two things correct but to claim that he was close is dead wrong.

    1. The orignal concept was to make very specific legion rules but the problem was

      1. They wouldnt be able to fit it in one codex
      2. Multiple codices is hard to sustain unless there is mucg effort.

So tjere was a compromise. One codex. No heavy legion rules or advantages. But if you wajted to play a certain legion theyd give you the tools to make it. With marks or a few units. So cult terminators might have once been real.

  34. So does anyone know traitor guard are still supposed to be in the csm dex or not

    1. I think cultists are their equivalent to traitor guard.

    2. No it could be that the Traitor Guard rule allows you to take Imperial Guard as BB's. And yes that can also stand for "Best Bros".

      Delete
    3. If IG were gonna be battle brothers, they would have made them so in the allies matrix. Again, that is what the cultists are for.

      Delete
    4. Or they might just give you restrictions like point modifiers, "none of this or that", and/or other special rules that might weaken/limit the IG/TG but make them more chaos and BB's.

  35. If its true about having multiple benefits from marks, ie a terminator with +1 toughness and fnp would indeed be a cult terminator. The icons and marks will make squads legion specific in a way.

    1. I would imagine that they would be overcosted and not worth it, just like termibators with icons now aren't... Paying per model rather than per squad would be helpful in creating some balance...

  36. If anyone wants to take a peak at warlord powers for chaos go check out the new character faq on forgeworld. For instance one of the imperial armor chaos lords warlord trait is to reroll both deployment dice and sieze dice. The rest of the characters r just fixed abilities from the random table.

  37. I'm a fairly new 40k player, I don't judge anyone who writes a codec or fear anyone else's army. I've slaughtered armies and I've been slaughtered. I barely know who Phil Kelly is and I don't think I've ever played one game 100% accurately though I've always had fun. Chaos is my army, I was sold on them immediately. All this new stuff sounds fun to play as and with and isn't that the whole point of playing? To have fun? Strategy only takes you so far but it's always up to the dice. CC oblits?! Sold! Possessed with jump packs and lightning claws!? Sold! A table with random abilities? I'll take it. My favorite friend to play against uses orks and he's the most fun to play with and I personally think this new chart will cause a lot of laughs and good times for both people playing. I just hope the hating SM rule affects all types of space marines , blood angels specifically.

  38. Let me start by saying I love the blog and reading the rumors and news makes me extremely excited for the new dex. It may have alot of random charts, etc. but I think its going to make it chaotic and fun (pun intended).

Here is my concern with the new codex and 6th edition. I want to do mono god Khorne. I love the lore, I love the feel of the army, and I really enjoy doing up the Zerker models. 6th is clearly a shooting oriented edition as well as psychic powers seem to be highly targeted with new spells, etc. As Khorne despises magic do you think the codex will help balance khorne (I mean bring it more up to a competitive level)?

I would love to see some bonuses on models with a mark of Khorne to 'deny the witch rolls', similar to Kharn but on a less OP scale. Even at say, 5+ its a 1/3 chance to block the spell.

Close combat Oblits make me believe they have something planned for close combat that we haven't seen yet but that may just be my hopes coming through.

Anyways, does anyone have any thoughts on Khorne in the new dex? or hope they get some love?

    ReplyDelete
  39. I would think, and this is just my speculation, that they'd probably get a bonus to deny the witch, possibly a 5+ but a 4+ would be nice. Seeing as FnP got bumped up to a 5+ I can't imagine their bonus would be much better. Then again, maybe they'll get nothing. I personally play as chaos undivided , I like the mix a lot. Didnt it say that kharn the betrayer isn't even immune to psychic abilities any longer and he just has a 2+ save? I can see a DtW perk being unlocked by a chaos lord or possibly even kharn

    ReplyDelete

    1. Correct based off the rumors, +2 DtW on Kharn

      Delete
    2. Kharn having a 2+ DtW would be awesome! Far better than him being immune. With immunity now only he benefits, not the squad he has joined. With DtW he will stop everything in its tracks before it touches his squad. Khorne terminators led by kharn, bring it on!
