In terms of size, a Knight Asterius rivals a Scout-class Titan andincorporates a truly devastating collection of ranged weaponry.
Should anything survive such an onslaught, then the carapace on the Asterius contains a massive Karacnos mortar battery, capable of saturating the enemy with radioactive warheads that are designed to indiscriminately purge life but leave resources largely intact.
It’s one thing being able to dish out destruction, but the Asterius can also take heavy fire in its stride. Like all Knights, it has an ion shield, allowing it to shrug off most incoming fire, and it also features a substantial covering of armour.
The Acastus Knight Asterius may be included in a Mechanicum Taghmata or Knights Questoris Crusade army as a Lords of War choice and full rules for using it in The Horus Heresy are available to download now.
