    3. Would love to see more than just pics which generally you can get from the website. I would love to see some rules or battle reports from the White Dwarf.

  4. Great pics, definitely. It'll be fun to flip through my friend's Horus Heresy book when he gets it. I'll pass, since there's just not enough Chaos.

  5. I love the random Preyton in that last shot, just chillin in a mag full of chaos warriors from the 41st millennium...

  6. Wonder if the dynamic base is included, separate, or is a 2 part base so you can remove him from the base and play with him as normal.

    1. If you enlargen the first pic and look at the bottom you can see some pictures of an unpainted Angron.
It looks like the base is 1 part withe the model but i could be wrong
I wonder if all primarchs will get scenic bases like this

    2. If you look at some new shots posted up on the FW website you can see it's a two part base within a base arrangement. Such a great idea for such an amazing looking model.

  7. I'm actually excited about a White Dwarf... it's been so long, I barely remember this feeling.

  8. I have the feeling Angron is going to set the bar for close combat monster very, very high. Can't wait to see the rules!

  10. What is this Horus Heresy release anyway, is it a game on it's own? Can I use the models in a normal 40K game?

    1. its a campain-book
how can you not know what the heresy was if you are playing 40k?

    2. He means will the HH books from FW use 6th edition and be compatible with the other codexes and army lists in the game. Time will tell whether it modifies any core rules, and whether they are usable against other lists, or really only work power level wise against other HH books.

    3. Thanks Ian, yes that is what I mean. I know the HH storyline but have no clue what this release is about, regarding the game of 40K. So there will be several HH books?

  11. This is how they should advertise in White Dwarf. It shows off the models, but it's not just "buy, buy now", it's "here's the design team making these models, which you should totally buy". Awesome.

  12. Are there going to be anymore heresy models released for this book? Vindicators and land speeders?

    1. God I'd kill for a pre heresy speeder. Puppetswar just came out with one reminiscent of the couch strapped to a rocket model from the old days: http://puppetswar.com/product.php?id_product=159

  13. I saw these a couple of days ago and went WOW. Is ARGON, the first one coming out since he has not gotten his own book yet? Is fulgrim coming? I may pick these up just to have them...that if the price is not $200000000000 usa.
