Asdrubael Vect Conversion Painted.

Last night I fielded the model before it was painted, and Vect exceeded his capacity. So it was destined that such a fierce creature on the tabletop was to be wrapped up and finished today. So above is the model with a little bit of mood background.

    1. My lighting was bad, and you just cannot see the right eye. Today I will be trying to get some better shots. That head also very much angles that eye differently. Something I did not notice of course until I was trying to get the detail of the eyes to show up.

Also I did not want his standard colors, simply because my own colors are more important than some recent whimsical colors thrown on him in the last few years. (how is that for a Dark Eldar attitude?)I am joking of course.

I would rather have him fit my army. People only think the Kabal of the Black Heart rule Comorragh. If that was really true, why has every codex cover only shown Dark Blue Armour?

In reality the Black Heart is a puppet, and a myth, and Vect's rule while absolute, controls a much more sinister and far reaching Kabal. Their strength cannot be assaulted or diminished, simply because few know it is they who hold power.

  9. Out of curiosity, what were you fighting against? I've always thought Vect was rather lack-luster ever since he became AP3

    2. yes, he should of been ap2 for his point cost. I do however pair him up with another archon weilding a Huskblade.

he adds nice special rules for a unit. Fearless, preferred enemy, you get a 4+ seize
