These are some rumors about the handling of the Horus Heresy in the future. Especially as we seem to be entering a phase where Games Workshop is stepping into the Horus Heresy with upcoming releases and box sets. Where does this leave the future of Forgeworld continuing their hold on the Horus Hersy? Only time will for certain tell, but for now, these rumors add to the conversation.

It looks like the future of the Horus Heresy stuff will be passing over to Games Workshop and ForgeWorld will be handling the new specialist games ranges. FW will continue to do special characters and upgrades for HH but the majority of troop choices will become GW plastics.
This leaves it unsure if forgeworld will continue to write the HH books??? Aparently this is overall due to the volume of work FW has on their plate development wise and also they cannot keep up the volume of production required to satisfy the market. On a personal note I wonder if GW wants bigger chunk of the profits too, but thats just me speculating.
