The Digital Warhammer 40k Rulebook is now available on several platform, including tablets, eReaders including Android, Kindle and iBooks. This is very nice, and I will probably pick this up for my iphone. Yes, I know that will mean I own three rulebooks, but having it on a digital platform is just nice and convenient. One of the best features for myself personally...... it will contain the current erratas and FAQ's.

  1. Hm, for just the rules that is a much better price than the hard back. I just wish it had been available sooner!

    1. Yeah hard to justify when I have 3 of the DV rulebooks. Should probably sell 2 of em on ebay now that I think about it.

    2. What I find hard to justify is why the Rulebook costs the same as a digital army codex, which costs the same as the Farsight Supplement... I mean come on.

    3. The digital rulebook itself is fine, and it's a much better deal for it, especially with all of the FAQs and Erratas.

    4. That's what I was thinking BDN. Just having the FAQ's and Erratas might just convince me to get the digital version for my Kindle anyways.

  2. My 'issue' with the non-ipad versions of these books is that they do not include any premade bookmarks or hyperlinks to other parts of the book. It makes navigating inside of the book very annoying and slow.

    1. These are epub though. As long as there is no DRM it would be super easy to go in and add your own. That's what I plan on doing.

    2. But I don't wanna! I was just hoping for some effort on their part.

    3. Well, we could collaborate on it if you would like.

  4. I have this on the ipad, and I have to say it is easier to use than the paper. Love it. Clearer, easier to search. Double thumbs up, you hear that GeeDubs, that's praise, you did something right!
