Confirmations of The Tau Farsight Hardcover Release Date

I was really hoping that we would see a hardcover of Farsight, the Tau codex supplement that is being released digitally here in just over a week. However, I just received a solid tip that we will have to wait a while.

Please remember that this is a rumor. The source on this is solid, and confirms an earlier rumor that the hardcover version of Farsight will be later this fall.

For the hardcopy of the Farsight, we will be waiting till October.

  1. There may be enough in the pipeline that GW has to wait for publishing this. They may also want to see how well the digital-only version does, now that it will be available on every format (and thus people can stop complaining that they can't get it).

    1. I really hope that "See how well it sells" doesn't mean "If it doesn't sell we won't release the book"

Because I want book supplements myself, not to fond of the digital copies.

    2. not true
      still no Windows Version!
      only kindel android and apple
without a smartphone kindel or apple device you can not get it. So all the people that only have a Laptop or PC.

Besides its English only and the 2 pages will not be worth buying a 100,- $ device.... when i can just read it on the web way before the print comes out... wich will be limited so also a f.. over

    3. @Anon Actually you can download Kindle software for the PC from Amazon for free, and I'm sure there are tons of other freeware epub programs available.

    6. yeah
or i can just dowload the "free" version of every dex... instead of going through all the fuss just to give GW money for something that has less features than the ipad version and no resell value (unlike the paper dex)

  2. Aww! Well, I can wait for this. I'd mostly buy it for the fluff anyway (my blue guys are still loyal) but I was looking forward to it!

    1. The only new thing that is definite is the new commander Brightsword.

The rest is not heard of.

I guess army wide preferred enemy/hatred orks.
      New Drone(s)
Restricted Weapon types but not units i.e riptide.

    2. I doubt the Brightsword rumor. For one, we would have heard of a model by now; two, he's dead.

    3. Captain Typho of the Blood Angels is dead. So (sort of) is Eldrad Ulthran. No-one seems to mind. If he's alive at some point in M41 it's legit.

    4. "Though half a dozen generations separate the pilot inside this heavily scared crisis suit from the original commander bright sword, he has inherited all of the lineages ferocity, and like those before him, has pledged his life to the service of Farsight and the enclaves. "

Then it goes on to list his war-gear; Twin Linked fusion blasters* advanced targeting relay, stimulant injectors, shield drone, fusion blades, warscaper drone.

although its not Brightsword himself, it is his reincarnation which is just as cool.

Have a read of all the new warp twisted fluff- it sounds amazing.
