Today we have an updated piece of 40k art by Jon Sullivan. Last week saw little bit of this artwork for an upcoming Space Marine Battles book by the Black Library, called The Death of Integrity. Below is the entire piece. Here is a link to the previews we had last week, so that you can see some closer images of the artwork. http://natfka.blogspot.com/2013/01/preview-of-upcoming-artwork-tyranids.html

  1. Any chance that upcoming literature regarding the Tyranids has a correlation to any impending 40K releases?

    1. If the book contains tyranid units that have never been mentioned before or the swarm acting in ways that go contrary to the current breed of nids then yes. Otherwise, probably not.

    2. some info I read from the author mentioned space hulk the book kinda.... what ever that means so I would guess mostly Genestealers. Although she did also mention Genestealer cult so maybe options in the new dex allowing a return to proper Genestealer cultists?

  2. Difficult to tell by the lighting, but that definitely seems like Blood Angels, due to the similarities of the gene-stealers from the recent Space Hulk & the X mark on his knee-guard(Oh yeah, & the gems!).
Probably death company? That'll be interesting.

    1. The termi on the picture is from the Blood Drinkers chapter (You can see his chapter symbol, a chalice with a drop of blood, on his pauldrons).

    2. The Blood Drinkers are actually a Blood Angel succesor chapter, so you're close. I know the Death Conpany doesn't accept Terminators, normally, maybe as a succesor the Blood Drinkers do. Who knows!

  4. IIRC the Death of Integrity is a battle v. Tyranids on a Space Hulk conducted by the Blood Drinkers. That is what the titel refers to. I would expect lots of Genestealers for the 'Nids.
