By now most everyone has seen pics of the Warriors of Chaos models, and the models themselves alongside their armybook is to ready for pre-order tomorrow. So here is a quick look ahead at what we will be seeing tomorrow from the latest White Dwarf magazine.

Also of note, Forgeworld's Lokken and Abaddon are here as well. They are Works in Progress (WIP) and will hopefully be released sometime soon. This pic comes from Trueminiwargamer.

Most of my Warriors of Chaos pics are spanish and come from the Freak Factory, but hey, the models are out in a few short hours (not to mention a lot of spanish speakers come to this site). I am also expecting the standard close up video from GW here later today. At least I hope so, I do really like it when they finally show us a nice close up view of each model.

  2. The White Dwarf is due out so soon anyway, I'll be grabing my copy later today! The Slaughter/Vortex Beast is just incredibly, I'd love to pick one up just to paint, says a lot considering GW's unrelenting price increases.

    2. The Vortexbeast is just so sexy, maybe I can mount it on an oval monster base and find a use for it, somehow. Doesn't quite fit with Dark Angels though... Hmmm...

    3. Callum - I'll be using the vortex beast and slaughterbeast as maulerfiends in 40k as I play a slaanesh/khorne list.

  4. I am loving these new models, and can't wait to paint a Slaughterbeast. Which is odd, as I play a Tzeentch Warband.

Vilitch looks great, he is on my definite buy list. I haven't played Fantasy in a while, and I'm still excited by this release. Now what does the rulebook entail...

  5. Kind of Jerkish, White Dwarf doesn't list point costs for units in their battle reports anymore.

  6. The actual models and army book aren't out tomorrow....are they? I thought only the White Dwarf with coverage of them is being released tomorrow.

    1. Just the WD is out tomorrow. Another week and we get the minis.

That being said,I am really starting to like those Forsaken. I hope they are good and and their box set isn't overpriced. After seeing $70 DA Terminators and $40 Hellstriders here in Canada, I won't lie, I am worried about their the cost of a 10 man fantasy box.

  9. The more pictures I see of that Chaos Lord undivided the more his face reminds of the lion in the Wizard of Oz. Goddammit I love the model, I just can't get that image out of my head...

  10. The more I look at the Warriors of Chaos releases, the more I want them. Though they'll be going towards 40K.

Forsaken: Conversion bits for possessed or mutant militia.
Chaos Undivided Lord is going to get the conversion treatment.
Dragon Ogres: "Count as" Bloodcrushers for a none Khornate army.
As for that slaughter beast thing, I'm still thinking.

  12. This is silly misprint nitpicking on my part, but the GW entry describing Vilitch says he wears a four-eyed helmet, but the mini has five.
