    2. I was thinking the same thing, mainly because you could build this with the Stormraven kit and some plasticard. Not really the Forge World standard.

  2. Actually, it looks like a conversion. You can see drop pod parts for exemple. And I find the tiny "wings" near the cockpit kinda strange, they look backwards.. But I'm no expert.
    What do you think?

    1. Wings look consistent with the Cestus assault ram's aesthetic...

    2. Theres loads of marine kits in this the obvious two are the stormraven and drop pod. until we see it in the flesh at conventions I'm say mock up.

    3. I've built a few drop pods in my day... and I have no idea what drop pod parts you are talking about.

Whatever it is... there's a lot of significant changes to the Stormraven.

  5. Not sure if this helps or hurts the recent "Storm Hawk" rumor.

  6. With all the people who said the 120+ page leaked rulebook was a hoax, this is just laughable. Looks like they have the Chapterhouse storm raven extension on it. Now to me it actually looks like what the storm raven should look like.

  7. When did it become Internet Cool to cry hoax?

  8. Hmm...
It's either a Forge World April Fools, which would make it a very good conversion, or a new kit, in which case I think it will replace the Stormraven as it looks much better.

    1. Massive improvement over the Storm Raven. I just its real just in case I ever wanna make an army that uses Storm Ravens.

  9. I really like it, although the back end reminds me of one of the Tau fliers.

  10. If a stormraven, thunder hawk, and a tau baracuda had a threesome... This would be their kid

  11. I absolutely love it, fantastic looking.

  12. I'm in the hopeful, yet skeptical crowd. I would buy that in a heartbeat, but I expect it's more likely part of what might be a presentation by FW at their Open Day which happens to be on... April 1st.

Production or kitbash, I really like that model. It's very well done.

  13. Curiously, this looks pretty much like a Stormraven/Valkyrie combination I build half a year ago. Much sleeker and, admittedly, more marine-like, but it still has an uncanny resemblance.
That being said, I will modify mine to have similar small wings facing upwards, that is a really nice touch.
