Imperial Knights: A First Look at the New Codex
New Helldorado Miniatures, and Previews

Rumors:
The biggest bits this week were of course following information from the Bell of Lost Souls on Imperial Guard rumors, and of course the upcoming information on the Crimson Slaughter. In fact the Crimson Slaughter took up most of the week, as we found out early on here on Faeit 212 that it was indeed the Crimson Slaughter that was getting a codex supplement this weekend.

Lets also not forget that there was some important rumors regarding Warhammer Fantasy as well. Just the fact that the timeline looks to be moving forward and allies being integrated much more heavily into the game are some big changes to what is going on.

Lets check out the rest of the rumors this week.

Read through the book... only 2 pages worth of actual rules.

Possessed become troops, lose whatever the possessed special rule is and gain a D3 roll at the start of their owning players turn. 1 = change from 'infantry' to 'beasts'. 2 = 3++, 3 = (I believe) always wounds on a 3+ and gains rending.

A few new items, the only one I recall specifically is a 2+ armor save, crusader and 'it will not die' for 40 points. There was another one that gave access to divination for 25 points.

The only warlord trait I thought was 'nice' was warlord gains shrouded.

Actually, on the D3 roll a 1 gives you shrouded, a 2 is beasts, and a 3 is the 3++.

There are a few really neat relics. One of which gives your sorcerers access to DIVINATION but prevents them from using their bonus to deny the witch. Another is for Lords only S User AP3, but it gives bonuses for each kill. 1 kill gives +1 S, 5 gives FNP (I think), 7 gives +1 S, 10 gives Instant Death.

Imperial Guard

Imperial Guard will take up a 3 week release slot.
- Week one is up for preorder with the March 22nd White Dwarf.
- Breakdown is as follows:

Week 1: 3 kits, including the Ogryns plastic combo-kit and 2 others.
Week 2: Codex
Week 3: 2 kits

Week 1: three kits:
- Ogryns/Bullgryns plastic combo-kit (one unit with ranged weapons, the other with giant shields and close combat weapons)
- Stormtroopers/Veterans combo-kit
- Unseen "Big transport" kit.

This new vehicle is said to be able to move entire squads of Ogryns and other stuff (so apparently more transport space than the Chimera). This kit is said to be roughly Land Raider sized. Previous "big tank" chatter over a month ago has also described it as being influenced by the Forgeworld Malcador's design.

Forgeworld

A number of stores in the North America market has received new order points to go with the new website design.  I know that several stores in Texas, Colorado, California will have their systems up and running, with new training by mid-April

I have overheard, then read that Memphis, TN store will/already has the update and is rumored to soon be carrying Forge World product.

Warhammer Fantasy

A couple of interesting things

Weekly releases will take a while to catch up, but give it time and the traditional army focus per month will disappear

Big changes are coming across the board,

No definite time for this but warhammer fantasy is moving on. By a significant length of time. Significant.

Armies aren't so much being 'squatted' though actually it's quite fitting as the influence of chaos grows and disrupts things, so survivors must band together in a whole new dangerous world
