Codex release coming June 28th, and the contents of the new Mek Gunz will not contain the old weapon options. I find this strange that these would not be included, but we will find out here very shortly as these are all coming up this weekend for pre-orders. Perhaps the old kits are not going to be removed or something else will be happening in addition to these releases.

I got some information about the content of the Mek Gunz box that will be soon available to Pre-order for Orks.
I was told that the Mek Gunz Box will not include the "old" weapons options.
Only the 4 new described in the WD of this Saturday.
The 3 old weapons options could be not included into the kit.
If understood correctly, this will be a strange decision from GW to not include the 3 old weapon options into the New box.
Except if they plan to produce another kit, but I doubt they will. (Maybe Forge World will make the 3 old variants)
Also understood that the codex will be released on the 28th June. This would mean pre-order on 21st June.
Follow Up. The old gunz not being included is hard to swallow, so here is more conversation behind the scenes on what was we were talking about.
About the Mek Gunz, I feel this really strange, but as they are orks it's easy to convert them.
I think it's an error from the GW , because all the New Kits include every variants now. (Example: Centurions, Vanguards, Sterngards, Ogryn/Bulgryn, Tempestus Scions/Scions Command Squad, Wyvern/Hydra, etc)
And if they don't plan to include that into the box, and also don't plan to make new models, this is stupid as the old weapons are really really small compared to the new awesome Mek Gunz.

I just talked to confirming the guns kits will have 7 options. The 4 new ones plus the old variants and just one chasis, but the kit will have a lot of conversion options. Still...7 guns to 1 chassis...
