Oops. Over-Gamed

It happens, was deeply entrenched in a 3 way 12,000pt DzC game that was a little crazy, so I am just getting to the computer today.......Here is a couple pics for those interested, and there is a video report that will come probably tomorrow. And yes, for those astute Dropzone players, there are some crazy things on the board.

    1. There are many missing buildings at the point of that pictures. I think we dropped 12 buildings over the course of the game. (many with infantry still in them.)

  2. I've never seen this game played, it looks like 40k epic? Do/can these minis be painted? What does a unit/box/squad cost in usd on average/range?

    2. As Natfka said, the2-Player Starter set is $95.00 USD. It comes with two complete armies, albeit small, for Skirmish size games, a complete Rulebook, a terrain mat (2 posters with city streets and a couple of parks and stuff) and 10 very detailed, full color cardstock buildings, plus dice, a measuring tape, all the tokens and templates you need, a game overview quick reference sheet and a quick reference sheet for each of the two armies included in the box set. It's everything you need to get started playing the game at the Skirmish level, which is the lowest points level of games. I had about two months of just using this starter set and the mission it specifies in the game overview quick reference, and had a blast. Have since broadened my collection to two armies that I can play at higher points levels.

Additional blisters of squads of units go for about $15.00 to $18.00 each, with larger units costing appropriately more.

It's an AMAZING game, and one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to get up to good sized armies. There's lots of varieties in the units you can take.

The two armies in the 2-Player Starter are each a little over 500 points each. Typical tournament sized games are 1,500 points, which is approximately equivalent to 1,850 in 40K...

      Hope that helps... 8^D
