What's On Your Table: Tau

The Second half of What's On Your Table tonight is a set of 4 Tau models.

I can't help but notice some people are upset about the quality of my WOYT, and I want to show case the finer points of my army, so here's 4 of my favorites.
The riptide is unfinished, as my airbrush broke. And the peg in my commander is removed, he was too heavy at first but now stands on his own fine

What's on your table is an opportunity for readers to share what they are working on. Conversions, painting, batreps, even side home brew projects. If you want to Share "What's On Your Table". Please no more than 8 pics, send your project to If for any reason you do not want your name used, please say so.

  1. 1st model - NICE! Lets get that basing done!
2nd Model - Gory! Very Gory!
3rd Model - Incomplete! Lets see a finished paint job!

    1. missed the top two... those need basing!

    2. keep in mind my friends that basing is what really makes an army stand together. You can have rainbow models but if your basing is the same then you have a cohesive force.

    3. Fair enough, but the article is 'what you are working on' at the mo. Not necessarily finished Showcase quality.

I agree with the basing logic tho - I don't consider anything finished until it has had basing done and or a little weathering on vehicles. My scenery is also coming on in leaps and bounds - adds to the whole gaming experience.

    4. I'm actually really bad at basing, farsight and 2 firewarriors are the only things I have based

    5. All I do to base is stick on a thick coat of agrellan earth. It cracks when it dries and gives somes great fissures. Occasionly, on bigger models, I put on the odd skull or rock but its really simple and looks cool.
