Its going to be a busy week as the pre-orders for Imperial Knight codices, and to top it off, Dropzone Commander has new releases hitting now.

Codex: Imperial Knights
Here is the latest whispers on what the codex will hold when it is released next weekend.

Here are the highlights:
1) For non-Imperial Knight armies...you can get up to 3 as a separate detachment.
2) Datasheets.  There is a section in the codex, after organization chart, that covers Datasheets.  None are mentioned but looks like these will be popping up in books...sorry everyone that don't consider them official, etc...
3) Ally Matrix:
Battle Brothers: Everyone Else
Allies of Convenience: Eldar,Grey Knights
Desperate Allies: Tau, Dark Eldar
Apocalypse: Orks, Necrons, Chaos Demons, Chaos Space Marines, Tyranids
4) Primary Detachment: 3 - 6 Imperial Knights.  1 is the designated Warlord (roll on Imperial Knight Warlord Trait table...yep Warlord Traits).
Additionally: Your remaining Imperial Knights in the Primary formation can roll on the Knight Apparent/Knight Seneschal chart.  1 - Knight is -1 WS/BS, Ion Shield is 5+ now.  2-5 Your an Imperial Knight. 6 - Knight is +1 WS/BS, Ion Shield is 3+ now.
5) Concerning Warlord Traits: They range up and down from being useful to 'meh'.  Examples: +1" to Run/Charge range.  +1 to Building Damage Chart.  My favorite: Warlord gains It Will Not Die!
6) Let me stop all the questions now ladies and gentleman.  Cannot show pictures.  There are no other unit entries for Adeptus Mechanicum or Freeblades.  They are not even listed on the ally chart.
7) The Companion Guide is amazingly beautiful for coffee table style books.  Its a big book, lots of pretty pictures, etc.  It does not contain rules but for collectors its a nice buy.  Average guy might not buy it but dedicated collectors will want to order it.  I recommend ordering it in a Games Workshop, ship to the store for safety and protection of the book.

Chaos Knights
There are some rumors here on Chaos Knights, that Forgeworld is working hard on varieties of Imperial Knights, these are most likely the case, as Forgeworld has mentioned that on release there would be some information coming on what they are may be doing with Knights.

Sources say Forgeword is already well into development of a variety of Imperial Knight add-ons and variant kits.
Look for them to begin with easy to produce weapon add-on kits including:-Knight Inferno Cannon-Knight Plasma Cannon-Knight Power Fist
Then they will move into more elaborate add-on kits including:-Chaos Knight
Lancers, Castellans, and Barons would seem like low-hanging fruit in the add-on kit department for Forgeworld but there is no chatter so far.

Helbrute Advanced Orders
The Helbrute and other Chaos models including Chosen, Havocs and possibly a supplement are still being rumored, but we have not seen a date until these from Darnok. So with that, it looks like we just may be seeing more coming very soon.

As far as I'm informed, the Helbrutes will be available a week after the Knights Codex.
It won't go up for advance order with the new Warhammer Visions though, as the Knight books have that spot. As far as I know, the Helbrutes release is the 15th (so advance order from 8th).

Hellbrute release dates confirmed for March as per your previous post, other Chaos kits to follow. Have not heard anything about a further supplement.

Warhammer Fantasy 9th Edition
via an anonymous source on Faeit 212 ****
1. In addition I was also discussing the rumours re: WFB 9th and WH40K box set. WFB 9th is on its way for a May pre-order and June release whilst WH40K box was not known. This may be because it is further out for a release date.

2. Also mentioned imminent additional plastic kits although no specific dates re: Dark Elf bolt throwers and also Slayers in plastic.
