Out on Thursday the 21st of May, The Warden & The Paunch introduces these two new Legendary Lords for the Greenskins and High Elves races, both featuring in an interwoven campaign. This culminates in an epic showdown that will determine the future of the fabled elven kingdom of Yvresse.

A Fierce Rivalry
Warlord Grom, known more famously as Grom the Paunch, is the only goblin warlord to have ever successfully invaded the fabled island of Ulthuan, home of the High Elves. Both bloated and unstoppable, Grom is an indomitable character blessed with supreme power and a Waaagh! eager for fightin’.
Eltharion, Warden of Tor Yvresse, is one of the most renowned High Elves in all Ulthuan. He assaulted Naggarond, capital city of the Dark Elves, and returned alive, surviving the deadly venom of a witch elf blade. The loss of his family to Grom’s invasion has made him a dour and dedicated champion of light, devoted to defeating the goblin warlord and saving Ulthuan. Mounted atop his griffon Stormwing, he is vengeance incarnate, and will do all that he can to protect Yvresse from the forthcoming green tide.
Deadly New Units
Brute force meets deadly elegance as a host of new units take to the battlefields of the New World. These harbingers of death range from new hero units such as the Arch Mage and Giant River Troll Hag to magical Rogue Idols, the majestic Arcane Phoenix and the deadly War Lions of Chrace.
Free Legendary Lord
The Warden & The Paunch will be accompanied by the release of a Free-LC Legendary Lord for the High Elves, the Lord of Dragons himself, Imrik – lookout for more information on him soon from Total War.
Old World Update
Alongside this DLC pack, a new update for all players of Total War: WARHAMMER II will be ushered in. This Old World Update consists of considerable quality of life improvements to the Greenskins faction, including improvements to the Waaagh! mechanic and much more.
