Remember the awesome new Ossiarch Bonereapers models we previewed at the NOVA Open last week? Thought that was all that Nagash had up his raggedy sleeves? He was just getting started. In the last day or so, you may have seen some grainy, low-res photos of Nagash’s latest creations online and said, “Man, I wish someone would take a better picture of these sweet new models, you know – not with a potato.” Don’t worry – Warhammer Community has got you covered! Take a look at these ossified wonders in glorious high resolution…
Feast your eyes on this monstrous creation! It’s a Gothizzar Harvester, and (if there was any doubt) it’s a murderous juggernaut of metal and the remnants of monsters and powerful warriors. It doesn’t just smash through enemy units though, it also collects their bones and can even help build new creations in the heat of battle. The kit is festooned with weapon options and a choice of bestial skull options too – we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
Need skeletal delights for your weekend? Then, behold the Immortis Guard – giant infantry that tower over the rank-and-file Bonereapers. These are the elite guard of the army’s generals and will cut down anything that gets in their way with massive halberds. Like all the warriors of the Ossiarch Bonereapers, they are formed of both the bones and souls of multiple foes, and these elite guards get the choicest cuts, making them a match for the finest warriors of any other faction.
We have plenty more to explore soon – models, lore and rules. For now, though, we’ll leave you with the full spectacle of an Ossiarch Bonereapers legion, arrayed for battle.
You’ll be able to order the first of the Ossiarch Bonereapers from October – Nagash waited for an aeon to unleash his creations, but you only have to wait a couple of months. Can’t wait for more goodness from the Mortal Realms? Don’t fret – before these guys arrive, both Order and Destruction aficionados will have a chance to bolster their defences with new battletomes coming in the next few weeks.
