Exciting news for Warhammer: Age of Sigmar players – we’ll soon be releasing stand-alone rules for Path to Glory. Path to Glory is a fun, thematic way to run a campaign and build an army. Starting from a single Hero and a handful of models, players get to watch their army grow. Warbands grow in size as champions grow in renown, while experienced regiments gain useful new abilities. Heroes themselves vie for the favour of their gods and masters, gaining new equipment, divine blessings, strange mutations and more.
It’s a great way to get involved with a new army as, by the end of a campaign, you’ll have amassed a large collection of miniatures and a storied Hero to lead them, ready to take on larger battles in the Mortal Realms.
Previously, Path to Glory existed only as part of the General’s Handbook, but this release expands upon the ruleset there, most notably with rules for every single Warhammer Age of Sigmar army. From the new Kharadron Overlords to the Beasts of Chaos, you’ll have a huge choice of warbands and champions to lead them. There’s a series of Battleplans with a variety of fun new gameplay mechanics, such as Altars of the Gods, where brave generals can risk the lives of their champions for powerful magical rewards.
