Two new box sets are coming in July along with one magazine that are designed to help you not only get into the Age of Sigmar, but acquire your first set of models on a budget. Take a look at what is coming.

"Getting Started with Warhammer Age of Sigmar is the perfect way to dip your toe into the worlds of the Mortal Realms. If you’ve been wondering just what Warhammer is all about (or you know someone who wants to learn more), this magazine explains everything from collecting to playing."

"Getting Started with Warhammer Age of Sigmar also features a unique Knight-Incantor"

Storm Strike
"a boxed set specially designed to be the perfect first step for beginners."

"Push fit models make starting your collection easy, while when it’s time to game, you can use the double-sided mat in the set to give yourself somewhere thematic to fight – the box even doubles up as terrain!"

Later in the Storm Strike booklet, you’ll find painting guides to help you get your models tabletop-ready, while the Realms of War section introduces you to the rich worlds of the Mortal Realms.

Even if it only contained the models, this set is a great deal, costing less than buying all the push fit kits inside separately, available for half the price of a Start Collecting! set.

Tempest of Souls
What if you’re looking for a more comprehensive introduction to Warhammer Age of Sigmar? Well, Soul Wars isn’t going anywhere – but if you’re not ready to make that leap, Tempest of Souls could be the ideal boxed set for you.

Tempest of Souls features a selection of miniatures from Soul Wars and, like Storm Strike, is set up to teach you how to play, with introductory battleplans, a double-sided play mat and a booklet to give you a basic primer on the Mortal Realms.

If you’re looking to get literally everything you need to get started with Warhammer in one place, there’s a version of Tempest of Souls on the way that includes paints, clippers and a brush.

Like Storm Strike, Tempest of Souls is a great deal for the models alone, costing the same as a Start Collecting! set – even if you’ve got Soul Wars, it’s a strong choice when reinforcing your Nighthaunt or Stormcast Eternals army.
First Heroes of a New Age in new boxed sets…
You may have noticed that the previous edition’s Warhammer Age of Sigmar starter sets are being retired to make room for the new generation – but worry not, you’ll still be able to get all the models they contain – from the Khorgorath to the Lord-Relictor. The Khorne and Stormcast Eternals models are being split into two new Start Collecting! sets – both of these are great for bolstering your forces or starting a brand new collection.

You’ll be able to pre-order these sets later on in July – if you’ve been holding off on getting stuck in, this could well be your chance. In the meantime, Soul Wars is still a great place to
begin with Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and it’s on shelves right now – get your copy online or in your local store.
