I've sent this guy in before but picked it up again in the last month to make some improvements.
- Now all landing gear is retractable, front housing was a fun project in itself.
- Replaced all four secondary wings with stronger material (6mm mdf at the back now).
- Built an actual removable cockpit using land speeder parts and other bits, and added a ladder from there to the main hold.
- Added in struts, tubing and random plates throughout to give some texture.
- Resprayed and added some rough highlighting throughout.
- Still far worse than many I've seen but still so proud of it.
- Still considering a bit more spot colouring of white and will definitely dress up the weapons a bit and fix up the doors.
It's way bigger than the actual model and the new model was released after my first build, so it's ended up styled after both versions., it makes a nice piece of terrain if nothing else 😄
