I've always loved the story of Thalastian Jorus, the Blood Angels Reclusiarch who took on Abaddon in single combat during the 7th Black Crusade. Even though he ultimately fell, legend has it he gave the Despoiler some pretty nasty scars, and his corpse was honoured by Abaddon, being found un-desecrated and seated on a throne made of Black Legion terminator plate, alongside members of the Death Company who fell alongside him.
I decided that I needed to make a mini of Jorus, so I combined the 30k Chaplain from the Calth boxset with parts from a Primaris Chaplain, and gave him a BA bolter. Pretty happy with the results, he looks like he could pull the arms of a Warmaster of Chaos!
