In today's hobby corner we have "make your own special characters".
I quite enjoy the hobby side, and don't tend to use them much in games outside of a few narrative games!

3D Printing and Patreon Subscriptions

Well Ive bitten the bullet. While I was in town over the weekend I have subscribed to a few Patreon services for miniature STL downloads on a monthly basis. My top picks for these are Heroes Infinite, Titan-Forge, and Anvil Digital Forge.

A printer will soon be on it's way when I return to the office and we will be documenting what it takes to make the plunge and get printing!

For one thing though, downloading the files is a task as the files are rather large. Can't wait to get started. Talk soon.

Lost in the Mountains

Its often hard to tell, but a couple times a year I do vanish and try and keep up on as many articles as I can while up in the mountains (early mornings I often had cell service). Ive been gone for the last couple weeks and was back briefly over the weekend + Monday but as you read this am again out until late Friday. For the next couple days I will be completely out of cell range, but have some articles and What's On Your Table scheduled.

Got my copy of Indomitus hopefully arriving this weekend, but no way I thought that the new Bladeguard veterans looks appropriate for the lads from Fenris. Too much bing for them, much more Dark Angel like.....

Changes to the Forgeworld Facebook Page

It appears all things 40k have been removed from the Forgeworld Facebook page as Forgeworld may be turning to focus solely on the Horus Heresy and Adeptus Titanicus.

This is really a pretty big shift since they were doing Warhammer 40k as well as other things. We will  see soon what is going on with the rest of the products they do.

At the moment it appears only as a Facebook change but could be something like a re-focus etc.

Perhaps if I had been paying attention and joined up early I would have this already. Guess that means its time to sign up now!

Thought I'd send through my renditon of anacharis scoria one of the more fragile and fiddly models I have built. 

As with most of my character models I have done some conversion work its very minor but I'll let your readers figure out what it is.

Space Marine Codex Image Leaks

These were sent as leaks from what looks like the upcoming Space Marine codex, but with little additional detail. I know we saw one of these yesterday (the center Gravis Captain with the Heavy Bolter Rifle) which was from the reveal, but I don't recall seeing the other two images.

Im looking around and do not see additional, bigger, or clearer images, so have at it.

This my oldhammer Tomb Kings army.  I was finally getting around to painting it last year when my main gaming buddy took a break from oldhammer.  I put the project on hold and have been working on Tyranids and a Reptilia army for Genesys Project instead.  I'll finish them someday...

Been working on an Iyanden Wraith Army as an excuse to get better at painting yellow! Took inspiration from the Iyanden/Tyranid diorama at Warhammer World, so the army is based on a lava/death world planet. Got a small Harlequin detachment to finish off, and 2 Wraitlords in the pipeline. No troops yet, however, they always feel like a tax in an Aeldari army!!

Next Weekend's Big 9th Edition Release Celerbration

Next weekend is the big release for 9th Edition 40,000 with events going on at some stores. If  yours doesn't there will be some sort of online event on the Warhammer Twitch channel to catch. We will most likely join in on that to see what is going on and to see if there is anything special revealed.
