Faeit's Rumor Tarot: Ultramarines, Dragons, and More

Miss something this week? Or not sure. Faeit's rumor tarot takes a look at this weeks rumors and sometimes important news, so that we can catch a glimpse of the future and what is going to happen in our hobby. On occasion I will be breaking any weekend developments that were discovered or revealed, so keep a watch out, for on the Faeit's Tarot, you never know what secrets may be revealed.

If you think you may have missed something, here is your chance to catch up.

Dark Age Games: There be Dragons

Ok, I definitely need to get more games of Dark Age, and these rumors are keeping me excited about getting some games in. Not to mention I am going to order up a Saint Luke army here in my next set of orders. Of course I may want to see this Rumored Dragon.

In this set, there are some reveals that were not known before, in many of the forums and Dark Age site. Not only that, but these rumors are from an extremely reliable source, and I would give them the just shy of 5 stars on reliability (I have not seen them myself)

I don’t think it’s any secret the new Dark Age book will feature the Forsaken (more than likely The Prevailers, given the back of Conflagration), but word is that it will also feature the Salt Nomads, which had some concept art pieces floating around last year, but we never saw anything come of them.

we may see mounts in this book- along the lines of Saint Mark’s DRAGON and Saint John’s GRIFFEN!

Ultramarines Codex Supplement

We have two rumors here that are probably connected, but the first I know and is from a good source. So are Ultramarines the next supplement after Clan Raukaan? I hope so.

the Ultramarines supplement focuses on the tyrannic war and I can confirm it will be a company supplement like the Sentinels of Terra.

OK, so who will this company supplement be? Lets dig in and take a look at some background on the Tyrannic War to maybe figure it out on our own.

Ultramarines Supplement - 'Tyrannic War Veterans'
For once i have a little birdy, that hasn't left a mess on my shoulder, it seems that the Ultramarines will be receiving their own Company Supplement, focusing on the events of the war against Hive Fleet Behemoth and the 1st company.

As usual, take with a grain of salt, but i'd say it's pretty much a no brainer when it comes to deciding what to focus an Ultramarines fluff book on, especially since the Damnos campaign is already covered elsewhere.

No Rumors Beyond this Point
I am rating what I personally think of the rumors (not the source). This is based off of behind the scenes knowledge, what different sources are saying, and general logic and guesswork. It goes like this

5 Stars. If its got a 5 star rating, I personally have probably seen the release information. (think Natfka has seen this stuff personally)

4 Stars is a very reliable rumor, and comes from someone I generally know to be in a good place, or the rumors match up well. These are not facts!, These are still rumors, and even great sources can have some information wrong on occasion. (think hastings-like, or close to that)

3 Stars, is a decent rumor. Should be looked at with some truth in it. An average rumor (most will fall here). Rumor based off of real information, discussion, or we do not know where it falls. (Like I said, most will fall here, and this is the baseline.)

2 stars. Most likely speculation, but sound OK. Every once in a while these have something (think Natfka doesn't really think this is happening, but ya never know)

1 Star. Way out in left field, and I feel that these are probably just wild speculation or made up. (think whoa, where the hell did this come from, and generally posted up because its fun, or Natfka was bored)
