Harrowdeep is the big news from Game Workshop this weekend, but 40k fans will still be getting something as well alongside a Forgeworld release for the Horus Heresy. Check out what is coming next.

Warhammer Underworlds: Harrowdeep
The shadow realm of Ulgu is a murky place at the best of times, and it takes brave souls indeed to journey into the dark fastness beneath the Shadowsea in search of spoils and glory. Our favourite warbands are nonetheless ready to plunge into the terrifying labyrinth known only as Harrowdeep.

Packed with universal cards, new Grand Alliance cards for Order, Chaos, Death, and Destruction warbands, and much more, this is far and away the biggest Warhammer Underworlds core set ever released. There are new mechanics such as Gloom tokens, which hide objectives from view, and even more ways to die than ever before.

Two new bands of heroes* are making their way into the underworlds, featuring the Thunderstrike-armoured Stormcast Eternals and Kruleboyz from Warhammer Age of Sigmar’s new edition.

Xandire’s Truthseekers (above) are every bit the valiant chosen of Sigmar, while Da Kunnin’ Krew live up to their name with all manner of sneaky tricks.

If you order Warhammer Underworlds: Harrowdeep direct from Games-Workshop.com, you can score an exclusive, free set of acrylic objective tokens. They’re only available while stocks last, so make sure to get your order in early this Saturday.

War Zone Octarius Book 1: Rising Tide
We’re in the Octarius sector, where former Inquisitor Kryptmann’s meddling has brought Hive Fleet Leviathan right into the heart of a colossal Ork empire, where elite kill teams fight desperate missions to hold back the tide. What could possibly go wrong?

Find out how the Imperium is handling the sudden explosion of violence,** grant your own Tyranids terrifying new synaptic abilities, and marshal the might of Cadia’s remaining regiments in War Zone Octarius Book 1: Rising Tide, available for pre-order on Saturday in hardback or a luxurious collector’s edition.

Octarius Mission Pack: Containment sees the return of deadly Planetstrike missions to Warhammer 40,000, where stoic defenders must look to the skies as their foes rain from the heavens across 21 new narrative play scenarios for Crusade campaigns

Plenty of new missions means plenty of opportunities to roll a fistful of dice, and what suits a Tyranid-infested war zone better than the sigil of the Ordo Xenos? Cast in vibrant purple with white pips, this set of dice will complement your Crusade missions perfectly.

The battlefields of the Horus Heresy are awash with glorious heroes and heinous villains alike, and both are arriving for pre-order this week at Forge-World.co.uk.

Sons of Horus Legion Praetor
Leading the disciplined armies of the Warmaster into combat, Sons of Horus Praetors are exceptional commanders clad in gleaming artificer-wrought armour and wielding deadly weapons. They lead from the front, and command the unswerving loyalty of their Legionnaires in the name of Horus himself.

Legion Mk IV Destroyer Squad
When war calls for grotesque weapons, Destroyer Squads shoulder the burden of dishonour. They count rad weapons, phosphex bombs, and even darker weaponry among their arsenal, and march to war in distinctive fire-blackened armour that most Legionnaires consider tainted at best.

If you ask us, Legion Destroyers would look right at home among patches of dead and dusty grass killed by the dark energies of their proscribed weaponry. It’s a good thing then that Citadel Colour has some new tufts ready to go straight onto your bases.

Whether you prefer your fields vibrant and full of life, or dry and scorched, these packs of ready-to-use grass are a hobbyist’s dream. Reformulated with even stickier backing to adhere to any surface you might need, the Verdia Veldt and Mordian Corpsegrass tufts can be cut, torn up, and easily applied in moments.

Don’t worry about making a mess with PVA glue and a bag of static grass ever again – these tufts are stuck firmly to their backing and stand up great even after a healthy spray of Munitorum Varnish.
