Next week brings loads of new releases for you to get your teeth into, from Start Collecting! sets to new boards for Warhammer Underworlds as well as this year’s Black Library Celebration miniature…
You guys like saving money, right? Well, we’ve got great news – two new Start Collecting! sets will be landing very soon. Both of these sets are a cracking way to start or expand an existing collection and focus on two incredibly popular armies released last year – the Maggotkin of Nurgleand the Idoneth Deepkin. Each set contains a Leader for your army, some infantry to fill out your Battleline slots, and some cavalry, giving you a balanced selection of units for your collection.
For Warhammer 40,000 fans, we’re very excited to announce this year’s Black Library Celebration miniature. Last year, we looked back at Black Library’s past and brought you Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn, one of the 41st Millennium’s most famous characters. Now, in 2019, we’re looking forward to one of its rising stars – Commissar Severina Raine.

Having starred in a number of digital shorts, Severina Raine was the perfect choice for this year’s celebration miniature, and her assembly guide also includes rules for using her in your Astra Militarum army.* You can learn more about the storied Commissar in our Black Library Celebration preview article.
As any Warhammer Underworlds player worth their shadeglass knows, how you deploy is nearly as important as having a deadly deck. If you’re looking to surprise your foes and try some new setups, the latest board set is for you…

Inside the Forbidden Chambers Board Pack, you’ll find a double-sided gaming board with some unusual features. The first side allows you to set up three fighters adjacent to one another and is ideal for defensive setups and small warbands like Steelheart’s Champions. Meanwhile, the second side contains a group of three lethal hexes, making for a deadly deterrent to any enemies who’d risk coming into your terrain.
Check back throughout the coming week for more previews, and let us know what you’re looking forward to most on the Warhammer 40,000Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer Underworlds Facebook pages.
