Taking a Look at This Week's Release
The Lord Celestant and Liberators are this week's releases, and before you pick them up, GW released a video a few days back showing them all off. I always like these videos, and somehow I missed seeing this one. The models really sing out to me to convert into 40k..... Here is a closer look at the Book Age of Sigmar, the Liberators, and the Lord Celestant.
The one thing I have liked a lot so far with the Age of Sigmar are its models. The background and storyline I am still deciding upon but. Here is what GW is saying about this week's releases.
Also check out these shields that were up on the GW site.

The Warhammer Age of Sigmar book follows on from the events that take place in the starter set, plunging you into the turmoil of the Mortal Realms in the wake of Sigmar’s invasion. Vandus Hammerhand and the Hammers of Sigmar have established a beachhead in the Realm of Fire while other Stormhosts set about liberating other realms from the chokehold of Chaos. The book covers three separate campaigns, one each in the Realm of Fire, Life and Metal.
But before that, the book takes you on a journey into the past, telling the tale of the world that was, the Age of Myth and the time of Chaos. It’s an epic tale, one of gods and monsters and incredible heroics, of grand alliances, treachery, betrayal and, ultimately, Chaos. If you want to know more about the background of the Age of Sigmar, this is the place to start.
The second half of the Warhammer Age of Sigmar book focuses on the three major campaigns that take place during Sigmar’s invasion of the Mortal Realms. The campaigns are presented through a series of narrative pieces interspersed with battleplans, enabling you to reenact the battles with your miniatures. The forces in the starter set are ideal for this, though you can use any models in your collection to fight them. The Ritual, for example, features the Hammers of Sigmar and the Goretide of Korghos Khul in the story, but you could just as easily fight it with Skaven and Wood Elves if you wanted to.
The book includes warscrolls for every unit presented in the book, from the Stormcast Eternals Liberators to the Sylvaneth Treelords and the Bloodreavers of Khorne. There are exclusive warscroll battalions in the book, too, that enable you to create the armies mentioned in the stories.

The Warhammer Age of Sigmar book also includes the rules for the game, plus additional rules for fighting in specific realms. Watch out for the vegetation in the Realm of Life, the trees have a habit of moving when you’re not looking…
