  1. Nice, I can't wait to see what they do with Archaeon after seeing the nagash model! Hopefully some cool daemon characters too (maybe a plastic Belakor?)

    1. Doesn't Be'lakor have rules and a model? Isn't there already a DP in plastic or Finecast?

    2. yes, we already have a plastic generic prince, and a finecast belakor, so i doubt we'll see a plastic belakor too soon.

but to play devil's advocate, will we see plastic greater daemons?

    3. There have been models for Nagash in the past as well - albeit, not anytime since I've been in the hobby these last 17 years or so haha

If they're going to be creating large, breathtaking models of major characters in each campaign though...Belakor, Archaeon, the 4 greater demons all make sense to me.

    4. they may have had models before, but they are FAR older than the belakor model, which still looks good today, albeit looking more like it belongs in lotr.

    5. I would think that Archaeon would be it for Chaos, the book has two options for him, one is a gamesday mini you cant get anymore

    6. Got mine on ebay for £9

  2. If they add new Chaos units it would be cool if they got rules for 40k as well. Kill two birds with one stone!

    1. If they will do a chaos wave, I bet the will do it, as it just makes sense to increase the number of people who will buy the kits and the rules(dataslates maybe)

    2. They won't need to update the rules until chaos get a 7th ed codex. They'll just supply both kinds of bases like they do with all other daemon models - so you can play them in 40k or fantasy...

    3. Well I meant if they come out with any completely new units, not just remakes of old models.

  3. I'm glad Warhammer is get some extra love but these Endtime books seem to lend them to the Forces of Disorder only and suggests nothing new for Order.

    2. No new models though so far.

    3. Don't worry, they'll be on their way - they did this with the Chaos campaign in the early 2000s too, started with chaos models and ended up adding empire heroes and the like as well.

    4. Storm of Chaos? I must admit I only remember Valten (sp?).

    5. it'd be either Dark Shadows, or Claws of Chaos. can't remember which.

    6. Dark Shadows was the Albion campaign and that only had the Fenbeast, Truthsayer and Dark Emissary released in support. The Emissaries would be great to reintroduce if they redo Belakor since they served him.

    7. I've got the goblin hewer and some cool looking slayers from storm of chaos

  4. Oh a plastic Archaon model would have so much potential now, but hed need a big update to be up to Nagash's level. Maybe put him on a dragon, or turn him in to a Daemon Prince?

    1. Neither of those would match his background so I doubt that will happen They could definitely bring back his Chaos Knights and give them some special rules that would make them match their reputation though. Also would be a great way to get some new Greater Daemon models out, which is what I am hoping for.

    2. Now if they brought out a Swords of Chaos kit, that would be SWEET! They were awesome in the Everchosen novel so seeing them wielding their bone swords would be bad ass. On a side note, the current Archaon model on horseback is, IMO, one of the absolute best miniatures that GW has ever made for fantasy. Not sure how much they have to up their game. They can make it in plastic with perhaps a more impressive base/mount, seeing as how Mannfred has a nice ride these days. That being said, the current Archaon is still a fantastic model imo.

  5. Or they cancel the warhammer fantasy range (along with LotR), and they do it in an elegant way:)

  8. Oh good, it's been about 4 months since Chaos got any sort of update from GW, they were probably starting to feel left out.

    1. WoC hasn't seen an update in...18 months? I believe. Demons more recently, yes, but still about a year or so iirc

  9. I really hope Skaven will get a supplement. Our army book is solid, though old, but some attention would be nice. Especially since we already pwned Nagash once - he might want to get his revenge.

    1. Ha ha, I don't think getting someone else to assassinate someone really counts as "pwning". "Technically involved' might be more accurate.

    2. We gave him a super sword and released him plus it's delagating so counts

    5. There will probably be a Skaven end times book too. That's how we'll get the rumoured vermin lord and others

  11. Wonder how many more books they'll be...

    Archaon goes without saying
    Malekith?
    Grimgor???

  12. I totally know how the "End Times" story line will play out. Archaon will descend from the North and wreck Altdorf, beating Karl Franz within an inch of his life when Nagash arrives and fights Archaon. The titaninc battle will leave both of them wounded and exhausted...when all of the sudden, Archaon exclaims, "Oh bloddy Khorne! Not him again!". To which Nagash asks what was the matter....then GRIMGOR IRONHIDE RUNS IN AND 'EAD BUTTS BOF OV 'EM INTA UNCONSIOUSNESS AND YELLS, "GRIMGOR STILL DA BEST!". hahahahahha
