The next Imperial Armour cover was revealed at Games Day UK in the seminars and this is it above. I know a lot of us are waiting for this book, so its good to see this right around the corner.

What the &#@* Happened to Dark Elf Witches

OK, pre-releases are here and now official. Love or hate the models, which I do like btw, Dark Elves are here and they are a big release for Warhammer Fantasy. We have seen the prices now for a week or so, and what is being released, and like normal I spend some quality time digging through these on my own.

So what the Hell happened to Dark Elf Witches? I mean OK, the models look great, and I love the Sisters of Slaughter look, and even want them for Dark Eldar Witches and Blood Brides. But seriously, how can you justify buying them? At $60 for 10 models.

Dark Elves are now up for advanced orders, and above all else, the new video has been released to youtube, showing off the models. Of course while Fantasy is not my game, there are several models here that just might be making it into my collection, as I am thinking these might mesh well with my Dark Eldar Wyches, especially for Bloodbrides.

Pictures have finally leaked, although they are quite poor in quality. The new Cauldron of Blood looks quite amazing, as does most of the models so far that I have taken a closer look at. Now I just cannot wait for the weekend were we should get some very close up and better pics.

Now the last time I talked to David Lewis of Hawk Wargames, there was still a question of some production issues with these. The producer of them makes very high quality products, and David was still not completely sure when these were going to be available for the game. A Weekend Full of Games, 40k and Dropzone

Spent the night demo'ing Dropzone Commander with some willing gamers. Fun night, and had Justin there from Cipher Studios..... who by the way just turned in the new Helldorado rulebook (coming very soon). Got some small point games in, and then talked shop for a bit. Yes, we had two tables going at once.

Also I was able to get in a game with a pure Dark Eldar list against a much more current meta, Taudar, Saturday evening. I did not win this game, but the Dark Eldar did exceptionally well considering. I will definitely get a brief battle report in on this tomorrow when I have had more sleep. Big 2500pt game where my Archon of course failed a look out sir on the first shots coming his way, followed of course by a failed shadowfield save. Two ones again.....

Faeit's Rumor Tarot: The Release Schedule and Dark Elves

No, the Dark Elves have not been eaten by the Tyranids. Even though there is very little out there in leaks, Dark Elves are still coming. So maybe the bugs just ate the leaks? This week we heard a lot of rumors, delving into release schedules, Dark Elves, Tyranids, and even the Imperial Guard.

Don't Know Jack Trammell? An Introduction is Necessary

His music is dramatic, grinding, and perfection when it comes to futuristic warfare. If you have not heard of him, consider this your introduction.

For those who do not know who Jack Trammell is, perhaps you have heard his music on the many movie trailers we see. Oblivion, Ghost Protocol, Total Recall(2012), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Underworld: Awakening, The Dark Knight Rises, In Time, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, and Soul Caliber V among many others. Its no wonder that many more movies will include his work in the future.

Independent Characters Embarking Into Allied (BB) Transports

A rules debate, I thought I would post up on. These things are always good to get out in the open, and get them settled.

Can an Independent Character join an allied unit in their transport, assuming they are battle brothers.?

Ferrus Manus, Primarch of the Iron Hands Revealed

Another Primarch by Forgeworld. These are the gems of collectors out there, and the Primarch models are literally things of legends.

I personally would be afraid to paint one, and this might be one of the rare times that I would consider getting a pro involved for a model. These are just fantastic pieces of art, and a must for collectors to own.

Tyranid Confirmations and the Tyranic Wars

I have been getting many source confirmations of Tyranids for January, with pre-orders in December, so it seems the information is wide spread. So while this is another confirmation for a Tyranid codex, there seems like there could very well be something else for November coming.

Tyranids Pushed Back, Dark Elves Oct-Nov, and Codex Supplements Ramped Up for 2014

There is a sad rumor, and this from a good source on this side. That is that Tyranids are delayed until January. I will be trying to see if I can find more information on this today, and I can only hope that somewhere, someone was mistaken.
